All personal opinions aside, I really do feel scared for this lady. One thing I have learned from my church is that the most important commandment, according to God, is love. ANTM55, I've been Catholic all my life and it came to me one day how people are so stupid to believe that homo sexuality or gay marriage is bad. You gotta love who you gotta love. So I turned Agnostic because you know what I finally understood? Religion is all well and good, but it should be taken in moderately. Too much religion pollutes the mind and creates ignorance and fear. These people are not to be hated or be called mean because its not their fault. They just don't know any better sadly.

sadly I think people take it to far, to the point where they are following a book to the letter that has no relevents in todays society. It was written in the time where people were stonned to death for being rude or looking at someone funny, had hands cut off for stealing, people were slaves. We have come so far as a species, put a man on the moon, created cures for so many things, yet people still care about who someone else is with, even though it has nothing to do with them.

When I'm old enough to vote, if it is unfortunate enough, that gay marriage is still not allowed, I'll vote for the right of gay marriage. So yes, straight people who believe in gay marriage do have something to do with it. They have a vote.

@njlez I disagree. All citizens, regardless of orientation, have a responsibility to pursue equality. Some people may not be gay, but it's almost a certainty that someone they love is one. Some het people are the children of gay parents, the parents of gay children, the siblings or cousins or best friends of gay people. EVERYONE should take an interest in the fight for equality.

All personal opinions aside, I really do feel scared for this lady. One thing I have learned from my church is that the most important commandment, according to God, is love. Love for Him, our neighbors, and lastly ourselves. And I believe that, above anyone else, the people who are filled with blind hatred in their hearts, such as this lady, are going straight to Hell.
