Very, very lovely. My theater is doing a play about Gilda, right now. Alan Zwiebel's "Bunny, Bunny". I'm gonna link this onto our Facebook. If you don't want me to do this, just tell me on my YouTube profile and I'll take it down.
Thank you for this great tribute. I have missed Gilda for years. I think its awesome that nearly 20 years after her death, I am not the only one thinking about her. Thank you all happy holidays and long live Glida. 46male Topeka,Ks.
She had so much talent, so very sweet and funny. I miss her so much, when I watched the Tribute videos, I cried like a baby, Gilda will never be extinguish fom my heart and soul.
So Gilda I hope you and Gene are in paradise. Love Always Lori
Gilda inspired me back in 1979/1980 when I did an impression of her. I just revived doing her again many years later. I hope I've done her justice using my own material. You can find me on you tube, Roseanne Roseannadanna by impressionist Sharon Daniels.
Thank you for the lovely tribute you've done. Shame she left us so early, but I feel her spirit lives on.
I remember that LuvvyDuck! Gilda was amazing and will never be forgotten. I cry everytime I watch any of these tributes of her. She was a special and amazing woman...
I remember seeing a bit on SNL that Steve Martin was hosting. Steve had just gotten the news of Gilda's death; his voice was breaking and there were tears in his eyes. He showed a sketch where he and Gilda were ballroom dancing; it was such a lovely tribute to her. (I can see a still from that in your own tribute.)
This is both sad and beautiful...thank you for posting this.
What a sweet tribute, nicely done WF. I'm 52, I can recall every photo, every skit and every painful night after laughing so hard our sides would hurt. We sat out by a guy's pool, with the TV outside, so we could watch SNL. It was our routine, get high and drink a little and watch SNL. Thank you Gilda, thank you SNL and thank you Gene for sharing Gilda with the world...she was a special star, that will shine forever. She still makes me laugh, some 30 years later. :-)
Does anyone know where I can find a clip of Gilda doing her little girl in her bedroom routine? Most of the women I know can so relate... I want to show it to a 23 year old who never saw her but acts just like her. Thanks
she was taken too soon but made an amazing impact. she was put on earth to make people laugh and in her short time here, she did just that. <3 u gilda. u r greatly missed and will be forever living in our hearts. she was amazingly talented. in my mind, one of the greatest female comediennes to ever live. no one like u. a true individual. we love you!!
Gilda was neither saint or sinner, she was a human with a special gift to make us laugh until we cried. If Life is about getting the most out of it, Gilda sure did. And the world was a better place during her short time here. Rest in peace. We will miss you always.
Gilda lives on in our hearts and our memories. She made us laugh and cry and realize an appreciation for life in her own very special way. I am just glad to have been in her audience the short time she was here with us. She will always be remembered as the one who brightened our day.
Fine, stompouthateorg, you insensitive prick, but that doesn't mean that you have to post your narrow-minded opinion on a YouTube clip that's paying tribute to her. What purpose does it serve to post here that you didn't "like her" as if anyone here should care about what you did or didn't like? What if someone spits on your father's grave when he dies? How are you going to feel about that? Well, that's the equivalent of what you are doing here.
What an amazing tribute to the ever lovely and enchanting Gilda Radner. She suffered so much and for so long and now her beloved Gene Wilder has been stricken with cancer as well.
Why do such great people suffer such terrible pain? Love you Gilda and Gene.
Such A beautiful person.A wonderful talent!!A true genius!May she R.i.p. and thank you so much for making us all laugh when the world is in chaos.Your comedy will last forever and never be forgotten!!
Hi I liked Gilda on S.N.L. realy could make me laugh. also, a fan of her & Gene together
in their movies. I liked, all 3 but, my fav was "Haunted Honeymoon" I rented it. bought it.& never fails every time its on the tv. I watch. Too bad her & Gene didnt get a chance to do more funny movies & or romance? she would have been 61 this year. thanks for sharing these memories.
I was last night my wild, silly, playful self and kept using the word, "nevermind." I was told I sounded like Gilda, and I reply, of course, what a terrific influence, VSW, (very special woman).
When I think of Gilda Radner and what she did for us in the entertainment world, I smile and genuinely love her. When I think of how she was taken so early from this earth, I could just cry. She was a wonderful, gifted and very special woman.
I just watched Haunted Honeymoon on my Tivo - a wonderful couple Gene and Gilda - They were a special couple! I wish someone could post some Todd and Lisa from SNL (does NBC allow it). Lisa Lubner was my fave of all her characters.
No, I don't think NCB allows it. (probably because they can still make money off of it) That's also probably why there isn't more Gilda on YouTube. (there should be!) Seriously, why do the haters even come here? You CHOSE to watch this video! It was put here for people who want to remember her, not you.
Very nice tribute. She was the only reason I forced myself to stay up and watch SNL. There is a talking card out of Rosanne Roasanneadanna that is a riot: "I'm depressed, I gained weight, my face broke out, I'm nauseous, I'm constipated, etc. etc."
My mother was excited last week to see that Haunted Honeymoon came on the satellite. I was disappointed when she let us know three hours later that it had come on.
If Gilda had lived, I'm sure she would have made more films.

Life is often a quick beating that can leave us bloodied and bruised. There's just enough time to leave a mark.
I most love the pictures of her with her fellow SNL cast members. I guess I'm just in a state of reflection.
There are just so many things that were better years ago.

If you want to read a touching book about her, try to find "Bunny Bunny" by her friend, Alan Zweibel.
