When I talk about settings, I mean car set-ups. I'm approaching this with Quick Tune unlocked, so advice on gear ratios, camber and ride height etc would be good. Or doesn't it matter?

Turn off all assists except leave ABS at 1. Use MT instead of AT for transmission. Run it with standard instead of pro physics.

And USE(!) slipstream!, you must use it if you want to get top 3.

I am getting sick to fucking death of this race! I must have done it 200 times and can still get nowhere near even 2nd! My settings must be seriously fucked-up because the acceleration on my car is nowhere NEAR what this guys is doing. Anyone have some settings to use please?

only advice i can give u is use these settings

manual

ASM off

TC off

standard

active steering off.

slipstream as much as possible (turn the race music off and listen to noise of wind hitting the car) this will help u determine whether u are benefiting from slipstreaming (when is quiet) and help u make any corrections.

try to follow my lines, there not perfect but u will lose a lot of time by going wide in some corners etc.

a good idea with the manual gear changing is that you let it go as fast as possible before changing the gear to the next with the R2 button (and eventually back with the L2 button). That really helped me a lot untill I got the third place.

looks like it's better to have a manual transmission for this race also. u can hold a gear past redline to gain as much speed as possible.

I must've made at least 100.000 cr. on this one track, getting pure 6th and 7th positions with default driving settings.

I then turned Active Stability Management off, and set Traction control to 0 (off).

This makes the car only slightly more difficult to handle, but quite a bit faster.

First 2 attempts after that, I scored an easy 3rd position, despite slamming into practically everything and everyone along the way.

Now to perfect the driving style, using these settings. :)

What driving options do you use? Highest I can get is 8 no matter what settings I try, but using your settings might help too.

I've tried using slipstream but I'll try to use it more and listen to the wind resistance.

But wow you just seem to get ahead of everyone with ease lol..

hi video is on standard mode with all assists off and using manual. the car hasn't been tuned. u have to slipstream as much as possible. good luck practice makes perfect. =)

thanks lol i also cant wait to get rid of my pad really want g25. to get 1st u have to use slipstream as much as possible. in particular the 2nd car going round the corner just listen out for wind resistance to make sure benefiting from slipstream then try to cut inside the z4 which brakes and stay wide. good luck with ur times
