it will fit, but it might cover some vent holes and buttons a little. your better off buying a custom made one for psp 3000

can anyone help i have a screw problem but its different the screws at the back right hand side can come out but i cant fasten them in again they jus keep popping out the bottom one is slightly more secure than the top i examined the screws and there appeared to be no problem am i right in thinking that its the hole that the screw goes through in the facplate is messed up not the screws so all i need is a new faceplate?

It sounds like you stripped the wholes, in that case you will only need a new faceplate.

Yep. Just take the PSP apart into peices and get to the daughterboard for the memorystick :D
