Mishary Rashid Alafasy - Suratul Qamar (The Moon)

Im not trying to hate, but I asked a Sheikh, and he said that Mishary wasn't good, because he does something wrong with his recitation. Can somebody enlighten me?

ps im 16 so please dont expect me to know anything...

@mobinf He is one of the better recitors, however, his idghaam and ikhfaa' is longer than his long vowels. Besides this, his pronunciation is slightly not as tight, but that is hammering him too much

I absolutely love this particular recitation. Some people don't realize how difficult this Surah. If I know this Surah by heart it is mostly because of this video. I actually learned this Surah by listening to this recitation. Just keep in mind that it is not an easy Surah to recite. But Al-Afasy does it without effort. Try to note how he recites each verse slightly differently. And this makes all the difference. That's why is so great. Of course, intention also matters.
