I feel Adam and Joe have been greatly overlooked by the BBC. They're maybe not as witty as some comedians, but their childish humor, musical talent and dashing good looks deserve a place on prime time television.

Teenagers love them, students love them, anyone thats a bit crazy loves them so why stick them on the radio on a saturday morning! I don't know any teenagers that would get up that early! (Apart from myself)

MeeBOX is funnier and more creative than most comedy fare, but some of the concepts may have been a little too obscure for some viewers. it just didn't have the slightly broader pop culture references, mixed in with sharper satire, that would've appealed to younger audiences. ultimately, it desperately lacked the chemistry between adam and joe to fill the gaps.

Why on earth is how "challenging" or "controversial" a show is, an indicator of it's value?. It makes me sad to think the only way to get a show commisioned or a pilot noticed, is to fill it with people being sick out of their eyes or punching kittens. In what way does Adam "keep getting work?" He gets a country mile less than he should, instead we have Charlie Brooker or whoever shouting about how repulsive everyone and everything is. Adam buxton's work is extremely safe, its not challenging nor is it controverisal, its incredibly lame nowadays. Only reason Adam keeps getting work is because of who he is. Lots of people on youtube who do similar work & are funnier & they don't get 1/10th the views MR BUXTON gets. Its time to let others have a go. No doubt this comment will get minuses too. To be honest, Evian, I can somewhat see the point you're trying to make. But its not as if he's clogging up Saturday evenings with shit reality shows, panelling tripe wannabees. He's got a slot on BBC3 at 11:45 on a Sunday night! and to be honest, I think he deserves a better slot. He's worked hard to get to where he is now, and a lot of effort has gone into getting this show picked up for a series. I certainly wouldn't call it "extremely safe" at all. It's maverick, man!
