Maybe check the program? Seems like the tail is supposed to snap back a lot faster than that (at least it did when I built it). But yeah, cool model.

there is a cd that came in the box has a graphic programing tool, you can use it to program your nxt, its pretty easy. and the program has some tutorial that comes with it too.

Its not all that spectacular. The kit comes with instructions on how to make and program the scorpion.

it only comes with 3 servos, and theyr fairly large. the only way would be to have a complex gear system... good luck with taht

its a touch sensor. when it hits the floor or something in front of it it will pull back because the touch sensor tells it to.
