Saw them at the Fillmore in Denver last night. Fantastic Show - they played the entire Doolittle album and did a bunch of songs off Surfer Rosa for their encores. Frank Black's voice sounds as good as it did 20 years ago.

OH my gosh! i did!!! They were just perfect!!! I have a few small clips, unfortunately (for my camera) the crowd got a little wild so i was forced to stop recording in the middle of each song, but i can't blame 'em... IT'S THE PIXIES!!!

Yeah they do, but this was the best time I've seen them since 1990...these gigs really were like a celebration! And, it was SO good to have a fixed setlist...you knew what you were getting, rather than wonder if they'd play one of your favourite 50 or so songs (or maybe that's just me!)
