  • Question:Is Judgment rites a different storyline, or just improved graphics?

  • Lol, you can kill redshirts in it. It's a fairly good game, but I have a problem with Hijacked. Spock says I have to send the prefix code(NCC, USS...), but when I hail the ship and choose send prefix code, my keyboard starts going random. Pressing W causes S, pressing G means pressing V and most of the buttons don't even operate in this situation. So... how do I send the prefix code(I hate skipping Hijacked). Oh, and tell me PLZ how to skip space battles if it's possible. They are the worst.

  • Fun game....even today with the outdated graphics.

  • @theelusiveone saying that graphics changes how good a game is dosent make any sense at all

  • @kallemick Ummm yea that is EXACTLY my point from my post. Most people today choose graphics over gameplay. I prefer gameplay 1st.

  • @theelusiveone yeah right you say its fun even with the graphics which to me and most peopls means that you care about the graphics

  • @theelusiveone Listen you fucking jerk-off! Go read some of my past comments. I talk all about gameplay over graphics. WTF is your problem? Did you not get fucked in the ass by your boyfriend last night or something. My favorite All-time game is Meridian 59 and I still play it while others are playing WOW. You sound like some punk bitch trolling around looking for a fight. People like you start comment wars because in the real world you are some pussy!

  • I love when redshirts die!

  • I played a LOT of this game back in the day. Loved it!

  • Holy CRAP this game took me FOREVER to figure out!

  • LOL!!! This looks awesome, I had never seen this game before. I might have to give it a try in DOSBox, looks cool.

  • I just downloaded the game LOL I wanna finish this game even if it's hard

  • Gameplay seems identiclal to Judgment Rites? (only played that one)

Man classic point and click games were the best weren't they? Goes to show that if the game's good, the graphics don't really matter. Though pixel artists didn't fuck around.

  • I loved this game! So many red shirts bit the dust on my watch :[

  • my god! this game looks amazing! the real actors voices and sound effects!

  • Take the skull too! It's a skull of the alien race inside the mountain and the guardian will be glad you gave it back.

  • Dude don't worry about the colonists... blow that place up before the demons attack the enterprise!!! XD

  • This was one of the few Star Trek games that I could actually figure out how to play.

  • I bet Spock's brain is making his eyebrows twitch up and down like a yo-yo, as he has scientific empirical evidence of the merger of science and faith. Hell my eyebrows are going twitchy.

  • Does it make any difference whether you use kill or stun on your phasers? I played a bit of this awhile ago and generally used the kill setting, but I kept getting the feeling that it wasn't the ideal option.

  • hahahahahah at the last possible moment...

    Red Shirt gets killed

    "Hes dead Jim"

    OMFG

  • bettr than the nes version ~ Dosbox ~ wrks wonders w/ this title ~

  • I could never find pollux

  • i still have the game its actualy right in my hand ... but idk if it works yet :( flopy disjs

  • This game was old school and great, I played it...the graphics were good and detailed even even if it looked like a cartoon. Im surprised they got the orginal cast to do it.

  • seems like an interesting game woulding mind tring it.

  • It is an awsome game! Even today if I could recomend one game to anyone it would be this one and or it's sequel Judgement Rites.

  • I remember playing this when I was younger. Can't play it now. :( Doesn't seem to work on my computers.

  • tried DOSbox?

  • I got it and Judgment Rites CD versions to work on Vista via DosBox. Love both of these games so much. Still the best Trek games made yet.

  • i remember trying to beat those first klingons, couldnt do it lol, couldnt figure out how to shoot them, course i was real young back then

  • Someone should totally make a Youtube Poop of killing off that red shirted dude!

  • I freaked out when I first killed a security guy, this was my first game!!! LOL.

  • I totally beat this whenI was a kid! I remember the final battle being very hard.

  • i have this eame, in the propa box includes evrything im selling pm me if u wana buy

  • Most Illogical...

  • I threw many a temper tantrum while getting frustrated with this game. It was incredibly hard.

  • I use to play for hours purposly getting lost and fighting other ships. .. ... Altough it sucked when it was 3 on 1. :(

  • hahaha same here. That was the best part of the game. Remember how hard fighting the cloaked ships were? I tried to get them to fly past the sun, then you'd see their shadow and you could shoot at them. hehe

  • Yeah, I forget the pirates names... They were tough. Romulans I always thought were the easiest to dogfight.. Especially when they shot that green blob at you.

  • Elasi Pirates, and the green blobs would be Plasma Torpedo's.

  • I wish the Elasi made it into other games, series, etc. They were interesting and fit in with the Klingons, Romulans.

  • @Superare1 Same goes for the Vardaine.

It would be neat to see a new game taking place during original series period, continuing on 25th Anniversary/Judgment Rites.

  • Especially those Elasi Pirates; 3 at a time and fast!!

  • That old Game (lol)

  • I could never get hold of the damn starmap and kept getting in trouble with Elasi pirates!!

  • The Star Map ist the copy protection. It is included in the retail versions of the game. No need for try and error.

  • That was a great game!

  • I remember playing this years ago, or was it judgement rites, either way it was fun to play as mean kirk, insulting everyone and going postal.

  • The cool thing about ST:25th is that you can keep the redshits alive if you play it a certain way.

  • looool killed by a rock... lmfao

  • He's dead Jim.

    Always a classic! :D

  • Lol the redshirt death is hilarious!

  • Mineral Specimenes!!!!

  • will this game work on vista? if i have DOSbox 0.71??

and secondly how do i use DOSbox?

  • will this game work on vista?

  • Man this brings back memories I played this YEARS ago when they didnt have voice overs XD. I can see this is a re-release/remake with voice add ins but the sucky part is they removed the drammatic music when the boulder falls. There was a fanfare of tragedy that played when ever you lost the red shirt or when something bad happend. IT was so funny to hear.

  • When the voiceovers were added, they also removed a huge amount of stuff from Spock's computer library. It used to be full of info on the Trekverse, not just that which is relevant to the current mission.

  • ah well Im pretty interested in finding this version it would be fu to play with the voices in.

  • The music is still there but the person playing this has it turned off.

  • Would this game work with Windows XP? Because I'm considering buying it but I don't know if it would work on my computer.

  • I'm not sure if it'd work natively in WinXP, but if you snag DOSbox then it's fairly easy to get up and running pretty quickly. There might be some alternate ways to get it running (VDMSound and such), but DOSbox is the most desirable solution, imo.

  • one question, how the hell do you beat the level where the crew is outside of some complex and theres easter island statues all around...its been 14 years and i still cant figure it out

  • You have to use the computers on the ship and look up the 2 different cultures that are mentioned. There you will find some numbers and by adding them together you get 2 different numbers. Then after beaming down you enter one of the codes and then after going in enter another.

  • @roushimsx I am trying to get this game to work for my computer. I have Windows XP SP3 and both DOSBox and VDM Sound. I can not seem to get it to work with either one of these emulators.

  • By using dosbox it works perfectly, but if you just want to play it without dosbox, then ideally use win98/95 if you still have it.

  • If you recorded the entire game, I would totally watch it! Ahhh the good memories. :) Thanks for posting it.

  • that is great. bethesda have to make such a game with all races and skills like oblivion. i would buy it right now.

  • How exactly are you supposed to clear this WITHOUT killing the redshirt?

  • Easy didnt you notice the boulder that fell? The solution is simple. Vaporize that boulder before anything else.

  • i always get stuck wen the klingons pop out infront of the mine wat do i do

  • What kind of computer platform were you playing this game on? I heard it was only a DOS game. :-)

  • I was playing the DOS version via DOSbox, which made snagging screencaps and videos extremely easy :)

  • That's what I was thinking...hehe :-)

I've been trying to install a DOS game with the DosBox program, but I'm not sure how to do it. Every time I try to access the file (it's a .bat file, not an .exe file), it says it can't access it.

  • I take it you managed to get the full score on the masada?

  • Ah no wonder you only got 75%, killing the red shirts pisses off starfleet.

  • I don't believe I lost any red shirts on my full playthrough. I killed him off here just as a nice finish for the video :)
