yea the dead weather is not like the white stripes... the white stripes are almost kinda like the raconteurs but I still think all his bands are different and offer different sounds,,, so far the raconteurs are my favorite mainly because they put out 2 cds so far as opposed to only one by the dead weather so I need to hear more from them, the white stripes are hit and miss for me. I think he has grown better, but when he gets in more of a storytelling relaxing mood then he will be good to retur

i bought the "horehound" LP a while back. The A side of the 1st disc sounds noticeably less loud than the B side. does anyone else have this problem? the A side sounds a little weak (doesn't get as loud when i turn it up either), then when i flip the record over, the drums n bass n everything just starts kickin. i wonder if i just got a "quiet" pressing.
