Holy crap! You have tied up a loose end in my life! I had this game on C64 but as soon as I got to this level, it would glitch and most of the screen was gobbledygook. I could see the characters, the treasure chest, and the levels. I actually got as far as getting Sloth to the treasure and knocking the coins out, but couldn't figure out what else to do. I was mere seconds away from winning. Thank you for letting me finally see the end!
Interesting. In the C64 version, the final level of the game (shown here) the main theme with Cyndi Lauper is playing in the background instead of this music, which was Level 2 in the C64 game.
I love that the octopus scene in the movie ended up on the cutting room floor. Just as hard to make a game following the movie back then as it is today.
Wow. I only ever got to this level once. I figured it must have been the end, but I think I tried to psyche myself out of believing it was the end since I would rather not have come this close to success and still failed!
Oh man, I just want to hear the music from this game again.
Yeah, I think I got there once or twice. I usually failed at the level with the music organ - that wss really hard for me (considering I was ike 8 years old at that time) now I'm 28
Thanks so much ! I played this like 20 years ago on my Atari 800XL when I was 7 or 8 years old. I even remember the music and the level ! The game was really hard for me back in those days... I also had Conan for the Atari 800XL - that also was hard as hell ! You have a video of Conan maybe ?
