@jdvg22 I have a friend who owns a big productions body shop who is helping me with what tools to buy to get my shop set up for my hobbies at home and he told me to buy the Spitznagel Maxi Dent DF-505. It is similar to this one except runs on 220 single phase instead of 12 volt battery. I have not received it yet but my friend said it was the best money I would spend.
I one knew an old man that took a dent from an air cleaner stud that was to tall , out of a hood for me with electrical tape on the head of a body hammer , no paint work involved , it came out perfect , asked how he did it , and his answer was you learn a-lot in 60 years lol
You are a GOD. I learn new stuff in every one of your vids! Thanks for the inspiration for those of us that want to learn how to do it all YOURSELF! I'm still learning how to repair plastic bumpers perfectly. This video is great -- I bought a GMC truck that has a couple zingers I want to be able to repair myself. It waits patiently for me until I have enough knowledge :)
@MrDirtrider777 Went on a tour of the g.m. plant once and saw them using there hands to find imprefections, then they took a slap hammer and got rid of the small dents... With the car painted, this was at the end of the line , the final inspections.... Hands are important.....
another wonderful video pete but i was wondering could you do a video on replacing door skins on a truck?i need to replace the door skin on my chevy truck but totally clueless as to how to do it cause im still a beginner in body work plus never did that in school dunno why cause its cheaper than replacing the whole door
Thats the first time I have seen a dent puller like that used,I never knew such a machine existed, ive used commode plungers before on some big dents they work wonderful. Thanks
