@Corn Refiners Association Looks like you are not convincing many people with your lies. I am learning to shop the perimeter of the store and stay away from anything that comes in a box. Apparently I am not the only one because when I go to the store now, I have noticed the return of sugar to the ingredients list instead of HFCS. If foods sit on the shelf unbought, the companies won't stick with you. Keep researching, America! Even the AMA does NOT recommend, in spite of what CRA claims.
I'll fill in for the corn refiners who never answered nor discuss what "moderation" is. Moderation basically means not eating ANYTHING with high fructose corn syrup. You can get all the sugar you need in a day from fruits alone. Of course consuming something with HFCS every once in a while is not gonna kill you but let's just remember, a 12 oz can of coke ALONE has over 10 grams more sugar than you need in a day. If your kids are consuming more than that...it's too much.
Drop the apple sauce for an apple! Drop the processed Ham for organic meat, replace the white bread with whole wheat, pickle is fine, drop the coke and lemonade for water, who eats a jam sandwich?
Popsicle? Why fatty?
Wow got super lazy on the dinner huh? Go learn to cook!
Why fill them with sugary ice cream before bed they will never fall a sleep!
Oh wait I see what you did there everything you listed was from the terrible ads!
@BrandtFicken You are not alone, it is a popular misconception that high fructose corn syrup is more ‘processed’ than sugar, fruit juice concentrate, or agave nectar production. Conversely, they all go through remarkably similar production methods that aim to refine the raw botanical material into a robust and versatile sweetener that can be formulated into a wide range of foods and beverages. @CornRefinersAssoc I don't think it's a coincidence that the wholesale switch to corn sweeteners in the 1980’s marked the beginning of the epidemic of obesity and Type 2 diabetes that we are currently dealing with in this country.
If high fructose corn syrup is safe then why cant you buy it like you buy a bag of sugar?

I want an answer.
My kids eat cereal in the morning.
For lunch one has apple sauce, a ham sandwich with mayo and a pickle on the side and a can of coke, the other has a jam sandwich and lemonade.
In the afternoon they enjoy a cool refreshing popsicle.
For dinner we make two pizzas, and they have Hawaiian Punch to drink.
As a treat they have a small bowl of ice cream each and it's off to bed.
EVERYTHING I just listed has HFCS in it.
Tell me: Where's the moderation???

@AshtonPhoto This comment deserves A LOT more thumbs up. There's a reason why the person handling this channel didn't bother to respond to you.

Rediculous! It is not like pure sugar. It is refined and spikes your blood sugar and may cause diabetes over a period of time.

@CornRefinersAssoc Why not make a video showing how its processed with side by side comparisons with how the competitors are processed?

"its fine in MODERATION" key word right there. This commercial does the opposite to what the Corn Refiners Association intended.
