I would like to see more Russian made films about their war in Afghanistan so the veterans can get recognized. Same as what happened here in the USA in the mid 1980's with making movies about our war in Vietnam. It finally got Americans asking and even thanking veterans for their service. Ronald Reagan and his advisors wanted to punish the USSR for their support and equipment given to the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam war and now we need Russian assistance in Afghanistan ( go figure).

I would like to see more Russian made films about their war in Afghanistan so the veterans can get recognized. Same as what happened here in the USA in the mid 1980's with making movies about our war in Vietnam. It finally got Americans asking and even thanking veterans for their service. Ronald Reagan and his advisors wanted to punish the USSR for their support and equipment given to the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam war and now we need Russian assistance in Afghanistan ( go figure).
