Let's face the truth, this woman is a fat loser with nothing going for her but domestic violence. Who the hell would want to spend their whole lives on such a negative subject. if your significant other abuses you leave the person, done. Move on to something positive
@dubified89 Does that mean we dont need to arrest men when they beat their women? They should just move on? Oh wait you just mean we dont need to arrest women, right?
I remember a case In Victoria where a women used a sniper rifle to kill her husband & she used the battered women's defence at the trial & got off so much for a equal justice system, If what she did wasn't murder I don't know what is as far as I'm concerned if a women uses this defence In court then a man should be allowed to as well.
It has been been proven that the average man has the instincts to protect women, do you think that a creature with those instincts is the creature most likely to abuse women? No. I'm willing to bet that it's the other way around.
FEMALE MURDERS MAN AND GETS OFF EARLY USING BATTERED WOMENS SYNDROME... CAN A MAN USE BATTERED MENS SYNDROME? EQUALITY? NOPE
TO THE FEMINIST. REMEMBER A TIME WHEN WOMEN USED TO STAY QUIET IN FEAR OF LOOSING A PLACE TO STAY OR HARSH JUDGMENT? GUESS WHO IS IN THAT SITUATION NOW. THE MEN THAT GET RAPED IN DIVORCE BY YOU WHEN YOU TAKE THE KIDS AWAY & TURN THEM INTO A VISITOR/ATM MACHINE.. OR WHEN YOU HIT THEM AND THEY NEVER SAY A THING IN FEAR OF JUDGMENT.. MINORITY? I DONT THINK SO.
She preaches against competition regarding male vs female domestic violence, yet the first thing she makes sure to point out is that Male Victims of Domestic Violence are in the minority. Huh?! Then you go on to stop anyone else from comparing the two. So you got your word in, diminished male victim experience and then do premptive strike on anyone else the makes a comparison. A win for the feminazi superior cause. Way to go!
There is a Amnesty International video presented by Patrick Stewart concerning DV and abuse against women. Although what he says is true, he pays no heed to abuse against men. Why not talk about DV in general? It can even come from family, as in my case.
Sometimes men are psychologically abused, but then are made to look like the abuser when they stand up for themselves following provocation in the form of emotional abuse.
The current domestic violence industry's approach to stopping domestic violence is premised on the belief that patriarchy is the fundamental cause of domestic violence and that it is all about power and control. That approach and feminist research are deceptive, divisive, and destructive. Those premises are factoids from nowhere. Domestic violence is not a female issue; it is a human issue.
@TediusZanarukando Much, if not most, of the "research" in this subject is advocacy "research". It's all politically motivated. It's not like somebody conducting a physics experiment. It's more like a high priest of a religion issuing dogmatic statements that must not be questioned upon pain of death.

This was a great series. It does have some spots that a non-scientist wouldn't understand but the discussion of methodology I found excellent. Proud feminist!

I have a BA (Hon) in Psychology, I'm a member of MENSA, an INVITED member. I've published a paper as a research scientist for The BC Centre of Excellence when I did a private research contract with them. My research was introduced at a conference in Warsaw. Poland re: Harm Reduction. So, if you have anything further regarding my background you're just going to have to deal with it. I've been published under Dr. Michael Piechowski as a gifted person, which I am.
The beauty of Youtube is that you can get on here and make wild assed claims about yourself and your credentials and nobody will ever know you're lying. However, giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you're the intellectual giant you claim to be, how is it that you jump to the conclusion that I'm a misogynist (which I'm not) when I never said anything derogatory toward women. continued...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Right. So I'm lying to you because I'm trying to prove a point and that I'm not some dumbass on the internet making foolish claims. Right. I'm going out of my way to do that just so you can ask me and then tell me I'm making wildass claims. Well, I suppose we'll have to rexamine what you said now won't we? Do you know the definition of misogynous or if I post it will you tell me I'm making that up too?
All I asked you for was what makes you a research scientist, not your IQ score. So far, I'm not convinced that you warrant that title.
As far as your stupid misogyny claim, I never said anything hateful toward women. In fact, I've said many times that I do not hate women, and that they deserve the same rights as men. One would think a research scientist would have the skills necessary to figure this out.
Why, if you're so brilliant, would you believe bogus feminist statistics and their fraudulent research? Are you incapable of detecting shoddy scholarship when you see it? Why would you post something so asinine as, "Men choose their actions and if they decide to cause a pandemic of rape and domestic violence...", as if men in general deliberately conspired to cause such a pandemic. Are you serious? Is this what a MENSA member believes?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I don't believe that. I have read the research and the methodology was, and has been, sound. What hasn't been sound is these books written by MRA's just going on and on about their opinions with the occassional purely quantitative data, and I'm not sure there's many papers outside that method. These methodologies were discussed in this lecture series by the experts. It's RUBBISH what these MRA's produce as evidence. Could you link my quote.
Oh jesus christ. There's lots of flaws with feminist research. It ranges from methodological flaws, bogus conclusions, or even outright fraud. BTW, you can have a study that has sound methodology, yet is still flawed.
I can't speak for MRA's in general. I don't know if they do any research or not. I would say they do a pretty good job of calling attention to shoddy feminist research.
BTW, doesn't feminist research start with all kinds of weird assumptions, like feminist researchers take for granted that U.S. society is based on an evil patriarchal conspiracy against all women. Don't some feminist researchers use all sorts of marxist terminology in their papers? What self respecting science journal would publish that kind of hair-brained bullshit? I guess if this kind of garbage is good enough for a MENSA member, it's good enough for the rest of us.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
No. Research starts with a hypothesis based on an observation. The methodology is thought about as to how best to support or not support the hypothesis (the null hypothesis). The research is conducted using instruments, operationally defined terms and representative sample is chosen. The hypothesis tested and the results, both quantitative and qualitative, are measured and explained. There are many ways to do this and it's up to each individual research team to decide.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
That's why we say the hypothesis is supported, not proven. If your methods are excellent and you sample the wrong population then yes, that's a problem. The point is, when you design your method, you design it so that it has the highest chances of internal validity, reliability and external validity. Because social scientists measure behaviour the methods have to be as sound as possible. So what feminist studies are highly flawed in your opinion?
I looked on the BCCE website and dug up a paper titled "Harm Reduction" about cigarettes. It had several authors listed, none of them with a BA, so I guess that excludes you. I suppose I could be mistaken and didn't pick the one you wrote. Still, it's hard to imagine how someone with merely a BA in psychology could call themself a research scientist, but I suppose it's possible. I would find you more believeable if you had done any primary research. But I suspect you're full of it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You didn't read what I wrote. The conference in Warsaw was on Harm Reduction. The paper I co-authored was featured at that conference. If you don't believe me then why ask the damn question in the first place? I don't have to prove anything to you. If you can't understand what you read that's not my fault. Do you even know what harm reduction is? It's a concept from which research is conducted.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I'm not here to impress you. Again, you didn't read the context in which I stated that. You asked for my credentials and I told you one of the places where my research was presented. You should read what I say very carefully. My research specialty at the time was Harm Reduction. Got it?
This comment is unnecessary. The loudest, most obtuse feminists certainly do tend to be unnattractive cows, but there are far more misguided confused she-children that legitimately think that they are entitled to something because society tells them that their beauty makes them valuble.
It is hard to believe that the people in the video are making an honest mistake. They must know that they are lying and the their lies are hurting people. They must be filled anti-male hate.
I learnt a few interesting things and I am glad I watched the whole series. I did feel an element of bias that played down violence against men with some of the speakers. The guy on the far right was unprofessional imo.
