  • Awesome thanks for taking the time and posting. I appreciate it so much. Trying to learn the song for my band. Can't wait to show thiem what've learned in such a shourt amount of time. :)

  • Thanks for teaching me this song. Now I'm getting hung up on how the rhythm progresses throughtout the break. Seems like it would be easy. Not here!

  • nice! quite helpful! Thx

  • Desi, thanks much for this. I spent the last 3 days on and off and finally got it all down. It's definitely an intermediate/advanced piece. The theory you incorporate is truly interesting, and allows some of the phrases to sink in. Thanks very much for giving this great tune that detailed attention it deserves. I can be satisfied now that after playing this song minus the solo for 30+ years that I've finally got the solo down and have it complete. :-)

  • Nice job explaining how the same scale can be used over the different chords. This song is a great exercise for the pentatonic scale. What is your playback setup? it seems to work quickly and accurately.

  • @mursht Thanks. I'm using a Boss RC30 loop station.

  • Loved all the parts but I just can't seem to get a handle on the movements. Do you have them tabbed out? Would love to see them.

  • Fantastic breakdown. THANK YOU for posting!

  • dude you are like sic... how does someone know so much about a box with strings on it... i'm lucky to know what 3 or 4 chords i know and your saying something about it is like a d pentonic.. what the *&%% is a pentatonic? your awesome. .. thanks for showing me how terrible i am.. i'm going back to the first lesson.. have a great day!

  • This is a great song and you are a great instructor! I remember when this was new...I was a young man then...sigh. I'm getting it down from your great lesson. It's challenging, but far from insurmountable, like several songs I've tried to play. Thank you so much!

  • Very nice, but it's too fast for me!

  • long Amie solo part, too good to be free lesson!

I used to know, but my tab was off - this is too great - time to pull out the cutaway!

  • Thanks so much. I had been working on this for a long time and with your video, I am finally getting it!
