I always test my weapons against the Royal Guards in the Cathedral in Anor Londo. On a new character now, but my strength based character could take care of them in 2 hits in NG+ with well over 600+ damage per hit with the Black Knight Great Axe. Some may have called that character a scrub, but I liked to end fights before they have a chance to begin. I can't wait to see what my Int. based character can do with the True Artorias Great Sword.

Great-sword of Astoria + Hornet ring + back-stab/ ripbose = 1600bs/1900rb (These damage is effectively if you're using it against a Darkwarth

Occult Great-Axe +5 + HR + BS/RP = 1900bs/2400rp (Effectively against living being, also affects invasion/invader) The damage can goes up high if you have more faith :D

These two weapon are from my opinion and yep I used them during Forest Hunting or invasion

I gotta say imo the best weapon for dmg and results has to be the black knight great axe. Way faster than a greatsword and deals more dmg. My top three weapons are the black knight great axe, quelaags fury, and lighting iato. Black knight great axe is my boss destroyer. Top 5 fav armors go to elite knight, kinght lautrec armor, ninja garbs, black knight and, kirk armor.

There is no "best weapon" in Dark Souls. It all depends on your personal playstyles and builds. Some people prefer a spear to a curved sword.

@TheBrendan998 yes but you have to go to the woods behind the sealed door first and when you back to blighttown right at the bottom will be a merchant and behind him is a pole/fence and behind that is like a ghost shinobi kill him to get i think.

@chaver28 & TheBrendan998 : to get the ring, you have to talk to the cat in te darkroot garden, wich is behind the door. you go threw the sealed door, and go straight and to the left a little bit. kill the NPC's, and go into a little stoned ruin looking place. to your left will be acat in the window. talk to it and join the covanent. THEN the go blighttown and kill the ninja behind the pole were the merchant is. kill him and take his shit, then kill the merchant, or run away.

@chaver28 OH. then go to the first bell tower and leave the covaent. tat way, those NPC guys will start attacking you again. and they give you plenty souls. its a great way to farm if you do that kinda thing.

By the looks of his stats he DID put all his souls into vitality and stamina, you are a belligerent fool for thinking that 100% vitality is going to roll. If you put all your points into stamina that even has a higher chance at surviving than vitality. Without stamina you will be constantly stun locked after one block, which will get you killed instantly if you don't dodge EVERYTHING.

@brumthebest because estus flask cant go higher than +7 and your weapon does more depending on which class you pick thats why i find it so easy to run n roll in big armour and my best weapon is dragon king great axe max dameage of around 950.

does not go past 352 on skeltons cuz thats there max health, need to be in londo for most damage

@chaver28 i dont use the target very often myself either, but for me its more of an exploit in the parrying mechanics and the backstab tricks, i can sprint right at an enemy and turn around just fast enough to backstab it before the ai even locks on or pary a blow that i cant even see coming by sprinting to the side =P

@rampage006 flip ring for the flips and the armour is not that heavy but im only use harvels boots helm and the harvel ring cuz you can only flip if your equipped weapons, armour, Ect.... is less than half of your total weight. if that makes sense so you need flip ring to flip and harvels ring to let you carry more so easier to flip =]

Quick tip for people having trouble with parrying.

The moment an enemy attcks you, try parrying just before the wepon hits you and the parry should be pulled off. Also there are some enemies that cannot be parried but these are usually the enemies twice the size of your character.

@sduenas11 Probably has a high endurance stat and use's the ring of favour and protection, that ring raises you endurance stat as well, there are some other rings and items that do the same thing but the one i just said is probably the main culprit.
