Fentanyl Pain Patch Recall

ok i have recently got my new script for fentayl transdermal and i actually have to take it off for a bit bc it makes me dizzy confused and when i am talking my speak is slurred and it makes me feel very odd also makes me very fatiqued is this fentayl toxcity or is it an actual overdose because it is going through my system to fast? and i do not abuse my medication i use it as directed so is it defective
