I'm so frustrated with my efforts to convince people of what's going on. I've been obsessed with it lately, hours and hours of research. I have never been so concerned for the country as Iam now. Most politicians from both parties seemed to be abandoning the principle of founders. We're in a perfect storm that could result in some very bad "change" for this country. I know the right thing to do is keep being persistent, but some times I just want to go fishing and forget about it.

Having a Permit for Concealed Weapons is one thing, but lugging around an automatic weapon is not necessary. He was pushing the envelope. It was not an automatic weapon, and how can you 'push' an unalienable right if you do not use the right in a threatening or unsafe manner? Open carry is in many states completely legal. illegality comes into play if he draws that weapon for an illegal reason (to cause harm in a non self-defense capacity) Many people or every race, sex, and background carry with or without permits, self defense is a right, not a privilege.

The fact that one black gun had a gun doesn't mean that all the vitriol you see in town halls right now aren't race based. The vast majority of them are white and it's no secret that there are racists in this country and almost all of them choose to support the right wing.

I also noticed that MSNBC aired a segment where they showed this individual, but used bad audio (so that his well articulated points couldn't be heard) with the clip. It seemed a transparent attempt to show a "scary" gun without having to hear a reasonable explanation from the person carrying it. The host of the segment was then able to paint the incident in whatever way he desired.
Let's face it, MSNBC definitely has an anti-gun agenda.

Most politicians from both parties seemed to be abandoning the principle of founders. We're in a perfect storm that could result in some very bad "change" for this country. I know the right thing to do is keep being persistent, but some times I just want to go fishing and forget about it.

Having a Permit for Concealed Weapons is one thing, but lugging around an automatic weapon is not necessary. He was pushing the envelope. It was not an automatic weapon, and how can you 'push' an unalienable right if you do not use the right in a threatening or unsafe manner? Open carry is in many states completely legal. illegality comes into play if he draws that weapon for an illegal reason (to cause harm in a non self-defense capacity) Many people or every race, sex, and background carry with or without permits, self defense is a right, not a privilege.

You made some great points in your video.
I also noticed that MSNBC aired a segment where they showed this individual, but used bad audio (so that his well articulated points couldn't be heard) with the clip. It seemed a transparent attempt to show a "scary" gun without having to hear a reasonable explanation from the person carrying it. The host of the segment was then able to paint the incident in whatever way he desired.
Let's face it, MSNBC definitely has an anti-gun agenda.

Why didn't these crack reporters, who were standing around reporting how shocked they were, rush to interview these gun carrying folks? Afraid of getting the whole story? Why was a "gun toting (black) man" standing alone in the middle of Obama supporters?
And these crack journalist wonder whether these guns are "loaded" - As if an intelligent gun owner would carry an unloaded gun?
