aww man, absolutely amazing. I love Led Zeppelin, and your cover is awesome, to be honest Robert Plants voice gets to me sometimes.. but Zeppelin's instrumentals are something of their own kind. Jimmy Paige <3 is hard to match to perfectly. Amazing. Love it. Keep up the good work :)

I wondered about that for years. After a long e-conversation awhile back with a good guitarist who had a big hit in the 80s (& who shall remain nameless), we came to the conclusion that, in Zep at least, his sometimes-sloppy lead playing was probably intentional. As not only Zep's guitarist but also their producer, he might've thought certain songs just sounded better that way -- frenetic & almost off the rails (e.g., the solo in "Heartbreaker").

Later, like in The Firm, he was just wasted.

@Ken5244 no doubt any "sloppiness" in the sound...a number of JP's solos were deliberate..a number of the solos on the studio recordings were improvised takes including Heartbreaker...Jimmy Page: The solo itself was made up on the spot" (from a Guitar World" article "50 Greatest Guitar Solos")
