Actually, Eric Crouch ran an electronically timed 4.42 at the combine, or 4.22 hand held time. So very misleading. I think Eric could get under 4.4 Electronic easy. So can Taylor Martinez. Eric was about 205 as a Senior.

Eric Crouch's 40 yrd nfl combine dash= 4.47!!!!!! Tebow and Young are fast BUT Crouch was faster than the two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Tebow and Young were much bigger guys (25-30 lbs heavier) which nullifies your point. Crouch won the Heisman by default, nobody else showed up that year that was a senior. The seniors that would have won it went to the NFL earlier. Rex Grossman was an underclassman (freshman or soph) not sure. he chose the right year to be a senior.
