Steven K. should be remembered as a great person. He did what many people wouldn't, and that was to stand up against a horrible and selfish American society. It was just bad karma, that's all! The victims and other students at the school where probably the ones laughing at the poor guy, and that's what caused him to do what he did. There not laughing anymore, are they?

I realized something when i came here to look at the comments...everyone on here..myself included has done EXACTLY what i've been saying the media is doing. Not one of us mentioned any of those people my name only as the "victims". Thanks ardethbey for putting those names on here. They are who should be rememebered, and by their names. Not by "victims"...and he should be remembered as something else...

I can't believe she says she still loves him. Hello? The crazy guy killed innocent people. I would never even think about loving someone after that. For example, couples break up because the other person cheated on him/her. This is way worse. I think there's something fishy going on and this whole story doesn't make sense. RIP Gayle Dubowski, Catalina Garcia, Julianna Gehant, Ryanne Mace, Daniel Parmenter. These people chose to get an education and be something in life and I'll never forget.

I do agree with you on that one. I can't say that i'd get on national t.v. after my boyfriend had killed people and say i still loved him. I'm sure she still does in a way. Maybe more cares about him and i still say feels responsible for what happened to the victims and him. I know I'd be thinking in my own mind how i could have missed signs and that i couldve done something to stop him. But she still shouldn't get on t.v. and say she loves him.

And what makes me mad about the media right now is they are giving this guy all their attention. I watched the 10pm news tonight and in the 15 minutes of the NIU coverage do you knwo that they talked about Kazmericzek 11min? The other 4 minutes were on the victims. Is that right? Shouldnt it be the other way around?We are all so focused on our own questions, opinions, and our anger and forget about those victims. We shouldn't be commenting on this clip. We should be commenting on victim tributes

NYC622 I agree with you totally. I'm guilty of giving my opinion on a motive. But what i'm saying is that as far as we all knew, he never showed outward signs that he was going to do this. Our opinions can't change that we lost 5 people...and no matter what he did she lost him. She may have conflicting stories but think about what frame of mind she was in when the police 1st talked to her. She was in shock and devestated. We all need to stop assuming and wait for what the police say.

And yes, I do know someone who was killed and friends that were in the room but I still don't think chastising her is going to help. Could you imagine being her shoes? The guilt she must feel for being right there in a relationship with this man and not knowing what was happening. I'm sure shes afraid...not so much of something but what could've been. She could have been one of his victims easily. She may be dealing with some of the same survivor's guilt that my friends are dealing with.

Perhaps, but its hard to watch an interview like that regarding a cold blooded, bone chilling masssacre and not say "One of these things is not like the other...time to play our guessing game." Lets talk about motive, there is no motive thus far (except he was off his medication) he did it on Valentines day? Could have been some kind of sick and twisted dedication of his love to her. Maybe the 2 had fantasized about doing it. He did it for her, and she has to tell the world in some way....

I agree with you. This is hard to watch. Yes, it could have been some sick thing for them BUT spending all the time we are trying to figure out why he did it, we could be spending honoring the victims.

I SOOOOOOO agree with you! Everyone needs to back off this girl...quit reading her body language and accusing her of lying. Even if she did know something, she probably didn't know to what extent he was willing to take it to. If the police can't find a single motive for this i'm betting he hid most of this from her too. Let her grieve.

I was watching this video in the library (without headphones) and there is definitley something not right here. Look at the way she constantly is shaking her head- a sign of guilt and anxiety. Not a mourning guilt as if she could have done something, but an anxious guilt as if she did do something.

Amazing. Also aside from her counterfeit emotions she looks very healthy, energized and full of life. Looks like she's been sleeping fine. If the closest person in my life did something like this I don't think I would be able to eat or sleep for weeks. I would be pale, frail, disheveled and extremely EMOTIONAL. This just came to my attention now...she says that her apartment building manager called her to tell her she had packages in the front...and she told the manager that she was in class all day Friday so it wouldn't be right away she'd pick them up. Did she know that he'd been the shooter? At least did she know he was dead on Friday? She said she went to class Friday...if my bf had just died i wouldn't be able to go to class....

I feel sorry for her because i'm sure she blames herself for not seeing the signs before it happened. At the same time, if she would have then she could have also been a victim. BUT he wasn't a victim...he chose to do this. There is no way to portray him as one. He made the choice to kill those people but they didnt choose to die. Its hard to say why she didn't notice but i know that mental illness is easily hidden and from what it sounds like there wasn't a need to worry about him anyway...

I have to agree. She doesn't seem like someone who is destroyed over this. She knew about the shotgun and one of the handguns. She knew he stopped taking his meds. It's hard to believe that after 2 years she had no clue. It looks as though she is putting on a performance. The lack of tears doesn't help her cause. Eventually she sheds a tear and says "I can't believe he's gone," and then she realized that it would probably be a good idea to mention the victims. She is SO full of crap.

Right?!!! This by no means resembles someone going through the aforementioned. I know people deal with shock in different ways but there is nothing sincere or genuine about any of her emotions. I think she knew it was going to go down maybe even suggested, encouraged, and or helped him plan it out. Whatever it is...there is a lot more going on here. VERY FISHY.
