Absolute great! I was born in 63' so all these songs are familiar, specially the Inch Worm, the Little Flower, the Guy taking the trash out on 3' of snow, etc. Thanks Ms Statz for sharing such wonderful memories with us! :)
does any one have the song where three female worms are singing about books ? if so could you please post it on here because that 's my favorite sesame street song
This is an absolute classic. I was singing along and did not miss a word. Thank you mstatz for this wonderful childhood memory. You are so lucky to have a connection with Joe Raposo.
That's so funny, my birthday is at the end of July, too! What if we both have the same birthday, wouldn't that be something? That would be so awesome!
Mine is July 26, lol...hey, so I just suscribed to you! I absolutely love the classic sesame street vids! Did you ever watch the one called "Me & My Llama", "2 Little Girls & A Little Dollhouse" and also the one that shows how crayons are made?
I noticed that! Thanks! I remember both those ones! The 2 girls and doll house is one I remember watching when I was 4 and 5 years old. My older sister loves that one and shows it to her kids. She is 43.
Wow, as soon as I heard this, for the first time in 30+ years, I remembered all the words and sang along. My favorite verse, "goats have kids, like people have kids, like me and you!" Awesome. :)
Yes i heard that about the kangaroo. Those names went for the red kangaroo. The females are called blue flyers malse boomers. As for a baby shark I didnt know that.

Shouldn't it be called the Baby Animals Song?
ZNKChannel 1 year ago
@ZNKChannel On the Sesame Street Record this is called "What Babies Are Called"

I love the kittens, they're sooooooo adorable!

It should be "Peafowl have chicks." Peacock is just a name for the male bird. Pehen is the female's name. So the species as a whole is peafowl.
moatguy 1 year ago
@moatguy a 2 year old would more easily reconize "peacock" but your right. :D

A baby kangaroo is called a joey but did you know in Australia we call a male adult kangaroo a boomer and a female adult a flyer.
moatguy 4 years ago
Sorry rambam1204, But a seal is a pup. Found that out at the zoo. Baby giraffes are calves though.
lion371 4 years ago
Here,s another amazing baby animal fact, most baby fish are called fry except for baby sharks which are called pups.
