I got out of the facility expecting another chapter....

I was disappointed. Easily the worst expansion of the two, but still worthy of a play through when they're practically giving the game away for free on steam.

@MrHav1k Yeah, it's not that great. Too short, no new weapons or enemies. Just lacking originality. Opposing Force was a lot better. If you want a good security guard mod for HL`, I'd download Azure Sheep. It's a lot better then Blue Shift imo.

4:44 I think that is when you get caught (Half-Life original) and then left at a recycling complex or something . So this means Barney really escaped fast out of Black Mesa , since there is still a lot ahead after that part in the original Half-Life . And then I guess Shepard was even more late , as before the middle of Half Life : Opposing Force , you find Gordon going onto the Zen portal , and when Gordon is gets to Zen , you are almost at the end of the game .

No, the thing with the crowbar is complicated. In the HL 1, chapter Aprehension, Gordon looses his weapons. That's like 2 minutes before the 4:47 in this video. He does recover that loss later, but those are different weapons.

So, Barney found the first crowbar, but the crowbar that's at the ending of the game was taken away by G-Man.
