  • Went to gem mountain on 08-12-10 we purchased the dirty dozen (12 3.5 gal buckets of gravel) between the 4 of us we found slightly over 100 carats of sapphires! after on site inspection by thier gemologist 19.8 carats were gem quality and large enough for cutting and heat treating! we were very happy!

  • Gem mountain is a great place to visit... I got some very nice stones from there in 2008..my largest find was a 4 carat rough that yielded a nice 2.5 carat finished stone.

  • hi , the sapphire mine that i go to is in Phillipsburg, mt its called gem moutain. you should contact them also for gravel...
