art decoteau and maestro working together could have changed the sound of soca forever. art decoteu was into the jazz/soul/strings thing and would have helped to modernise the sound. Thats why he and Maestro worked so well

De greatest calypso arranger of all times.I heard he was an outstanding bassman.I saw him in Anguilla with Sparrow.I waited anxiously to see him play bass but I was disappointed because he didnt play ,he only conducted the band.I hope some one can post a video of Arte in action on the bass.
