The issue with flipping is the placement of the "Name" on the ballot. People have a tendency to press on names, not on the check spot. What they need to do is make the buttons bigger, add spacing between each button and make sure that any text is vertically centered, to drive people to click on the center, not the edge of buttons.
Also finger input isn't that accurate. The finger has a large surface and any point that touches the screen may become to click point.
It's not the designer of the machines. It goes back to the manufacturer of the touch-screen hardware and software. Two different companies I'd venture (many times machines such as these contain many parts from many companies).
The issues with touch screen calibration are common; however, the manufacturer should have done more hardware and software testing. Losing calibration half-way through a voting process is ridiculous.
well...If CNN would have caught wind of this they would be plastering it all over the place same with MSNBC
and they haven't so I doubt its real, I mean sure its proly a real voting machine but who knows when this was filmed, it could be a faulty machine in at a repair shop
Glad you people decided to show the whole thing. What vote was that vote flipping again?
Never leave the job of reporting something to someone who already has a preconceived bias, in this case the voting machines are rigged, walking in or they will lean towards that bias and try and make it look as such.
He was mistaken. It wasn't out of calibration. Ralph Nader didn't "come up." Nader was already checked.
He shows at the end that when you choose a candidate first, then the straight party, the candidate will not switch to the party. He chose Nader, then straight Mountain, so Nader didn't change.

Jeff may be Waybright but whoever designed those machines was either Waydumb or Wayevil. What a disgrace!

The real explanation for the so called voter flipping is at min 33 forward. The truth is not open to the democratic process.

watch him freak out at 29:00.
but still, he put in McCain and it went to Nader, so this demo didn't exactly prove that the machines are rigged in favor of McCain.
