well first thing first block , secondly throw his time off, then punish, all 3 combined should be enough ,I play against this every night on ranked matches ,does get annoying, but takes patience ,gettin things done quickly isnt as reliable as taking your time. another thing against sentinel's assist , time the opponents use of the assist , sentinel has to come out first then attacksso if you are in any of your characters' range easily jump over and punish overhead
Might I suggest viewtiful Joe, chun li, and perhaps Spencer/spiderman?they're pretty mobile all in all is say.the last two especial, and spencers not too hard to pick imo.
I should play you, I was a hulk main in Vanilla and I still use hulk when I play at tournaments. Your mobility is something you really need to work on and if you're using hulk then it's even more important. Play me a few rounds and you'll be asking my how I make hulk look so fast.

@jmoonies After the air throw with Nova press H to land faster to get the centurion rush OTG this work full screen also depending how high you are after the air throw you can just press S to get to them faster then OTG with fwd-H. Also when your fighting a zoning team read your opponent when he like to call the assist catch them with a speed tackle hyper once you hit confirm xfactor in to Nova force hyper, this can easily kill an assist and cut down the nonsense on the screen
IMHO, I think you should expand your horizons and try out different characters. Especially if you want a better mobility game. Strider, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Fist, Spencer, Dormammu. All characters I never ever thought I'd do good with. But after trying them out, I ended up maining most of them. You could probably end up being a good Wesker player if you gave him a try. That's my opinion anyway.

@jmoonies Yeah, Ghost Rider's pretty viable. His Crouching Heavy is an almost, if not completely, full screen sweep that can be comboed into one of his three "grabs". His snap back is about 2 frames and is also full screen. MODOK seems kinda keep-away based, but I've found some ways to start close-up combos with him. I usually just fly over my opponents head and use Air S to get a ground bounce into a combo. You should try Doctor Strange if you're struggling against keep-away characters.

idk how you play with the same team so consistently...ive always had to have 3 or 4 different teams to use when playing friends. not only does it keep it from getting dull, but it keeps my opponents on their toes.not saying you should drop your team, but maybe swap out one two or all of them for a few sets, maybe every other episode? youll grow as a player for sure if you learn characters yourself, learn how to zone and keep away(thereby learning its flaws). well, ill watch either way...

6:37 is one of those cases where you just want to finish the match and not do anything too fancy, especially with that being the last character. In that particular match you could have ended it with a Gamma Quake hyper instead of the otg > Gamma Crush. In cases like 7:52 when I'm using Ryu my goal is to get rid of the assist by finding an opening and tagging them with a Shinku Hadoken and if necessary burn X-Factor and go into another Shinku.

If you don mind hotkeying buttons, why not just hotkey 2 x regular attacks to one of ur unused L or Rs? Then you can easily just tap that, and down for wave dashing. Also what's ur button setup on pad?
Great vids as always jmoonie, id like to see you use a keep away team since you said those are the toughest fights you have. Try and use one, maybe itll help you understand and get in better on those types of teams
wave dashing on a pad isnt too hard (at least forward wave dashing) using the R2 button(which i assume is where you put LMH on one button) as you dash push down at the same time and keep doing that, it just takes some practice.
You don't seem to be using assists outside of combos. You should probably work on that. Maybe if you followed something unsafe like the hadoshoryuken or Nova's moves with an assist, that could help make it less punishable?
I don't understand why you think Rocket Punch is Nova's best mobility option. You have air dash or flight mode and both are way safer than Rocket Punch.
