  • Such charming little girls! All grown up now but I never tire of listening to this song

  • I have no reason to cry, but I am

  • @skeetv123 My grandfather used to listen to southern gospel and cry all the time. He didn't know why he was crying either. He didn't believe in God. I think God was convicting him of his sins. I don't know if my grandfather ever accepted Jesus as his Saviour, but maybe that's what you need to do. The only way to heaven is the believe that Jesus is the Son of God and he came to earth and never sinned, and then he died for us and bore all ours sins on the cross with him. He took the penalty for

  • @skeetv123 ...for our sins and that satisfied the wrath of our just and mighty God. But Jesus didn't stay dead. He conquered the grave and rose from the dead. We deserve to go to hell for our sins but because Jesus died for us, we don't have to. All we have to do is believe in him and admit we are sinners and need him. Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Maybe you've already done this. It's the most important decision of your life

  • What kind of church do they belong to?

  • hoover, you've blessed us profoundly with your efforts and postings of so many clips. I have posted a comment on this particular clip before, but it has new meaning since the birth of my twin god-children (girls) three months ago and I realise that they may sing like this one day for the GLORY OF GOD - we watch this clip regularly and have even purchased the full Gaither DVD from which this clip was taken to use to teach, share and inspire the girls with one day when they are receptive.

  • they have a beautiful voice

  • This is fabulous! Is this that tune they were singing at the end of Oh Brother Where Art Thou? (when they were all together on a string following their mom and dad through town)

  • That song is usually refered to as O Come Anagel Band. This song is called Farther Along. They did not sing Farther Along for the Movie, nor did anyone else. Incidently, they did not appear in the Movie themselves, only their voices lip-synched by the little girls who did appear playing the daughters of George Clooney.

They recorded 2 songs ahead of time for the girls to lip-sync, In the HIghways and O Come Angle Band. They were told they did not look pitiful enough to appear in the movie.
