Just got your reply... been to due south guide (wouldn't have known title, too long ago) broadcast 1994 ! Didn't have net then, so i have been looking for 16+ years !!! ThankQ 4 tip though ... :-)
Have been looking for this track for absolutely years, first heard it in an episode of 'Due South' mistakingly thought it was called Prospero's Dream...
Just now fell on it by accident. Thank you very very much. so very beautiful. gladens my heart.
@Mauvewood yeah i heard it today and i had to find it i just went on due south episode list and looked through all of them but i knew the episode was called chinatown it helped alot =]
my little kitten Precious loves this song! She always purrs when I play it for her and starts rubbing against everything. I first heard it on the Due South episode Chinatown on Season 1. The perfect song for that episode!

reminds me of what happened on 9/11 makes me think of all the lives lost and so many ppl who could've been saved and yet perished in the towers and in the planes...rip
I love this song because it has great meaning. Although it's sad I get it's message. It sounds like there's a great high goddess who's of many things. A goddess who was also humankind's teacher before humankind decided to become abusive. The abuse led humankind to reject and surpress the will of the goddess. For centeries the goddess has wept and today she still fights and she speaks the truth. Her song Prospero's Speech is what speaks the truth.
I first heard this on an episode of 'Due South' - it's wonderful. You've done a terrific job with the quality of the recording and the beauty of the drawings. Thank you.
this song makes you think... why? Why are the children of our day listening to this horrible horrible music. never do i want to listen to it again. This just sends goosebumps down my spine, exhilerating.
go read the tempest by shakespeare ...its a speech by prospero )the main character/sorcerer in the tempest) at the end...but its interpreted to be shakespeare's final farewell to his audience
Yes, Asands, I know about "Tempest"... Unfortunately, I did not read it, but in general I know what Shakespear talk about... But, I am afraid that is not enough to understand video... Maybe, little... :)))
Slavery? Methinks NOT! He's a fallen/captured lord and he's trying to say, you can't call me guilty unless you call yourselves guilty. I just tried to help encourage bein human. And as long as you can enjoy your lives then my work is done.
hryzunik beautiful combination of your work and loreena's. This song is obviously about slavery. Such as the Illuminati's. And the all seeing eye,I stare at it right back with no fear, i offer that everyone raise their consciousness and awareness, so we may overcome this draeconian dominionist scourge that manipulates all.
Thanks for posting...it is getting late and I must lay my head to rest, so I thought I'd "leave the last words to Shakespear" with Loreena's sweet voice following me into my dreams...
Thank you for posting this song, I wish Loreena would record more songs sang this way and I love Shakespeare's words. I love Loreena's words as well, especially her voice. Thanks again!!!
..just watching reruns of my favourite childhood show, due south, and heard this, looked it up straight away, very beautiful!!!

Now my charms are all o'erthrown,
And what strength I have's mine own,
Which is most faint: now, 'tis true,
I must be here confined by you,
Or sent to Naples. Let me not,
Since I have my dukedom got
And pardon'd the deceiver, dwell
In this bare island by your spell;
But release me from my bands
With the help of your good hands:
