Whilst Nintendos conference was amazing - Kirby, Zelda, Kid Icarus, 3DS + 73 3DS games including Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Metal Gear Solid, Paper Mario and Pilotwings etc - I have to say I was slightly disappointed by what we saw of Skyward Sword. Sure, it looked pretty but I personally was hoping for a darker, more mature and cinematic game like Twilight Princess. I suppose there's still time for this to change considering it's not out until 2011. The plot does sound interesting though.

I just saw the E3 The new Zelda game looks AWESOME it looks like Twilight Princess with Wind waker/Mario Galaxy graphics. The game is called "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword". The graphics are awesome and a new item is a beetle that you can make fly and pick up items like the seagulls from WW. The whip is also gonna be in it too, and a boss is a giant scorpion.

Skywards Sword has it's own graphical style. It has a watercolor or oil style into it. At first I wasn't sure what to think about it and after a while I decided to accept it as it is.....now i just plain love it.

@dinmagic I agree, at first i was like wtf but now i love it ^.^ But in my opinion, the graphics look like a combo of the past games' style (the OoT/MM style, TP style, WW style) Thats what i think the beginning of the trailer was about (showing those past 4 games leading up to the new one) and that this game is going to have aspects of them combined, and maybe even tie em all together?

@SmashBrosBrawl I guess you're talking about the problems Miyamoto was having when demoing the game. That was happening because the Wii Remote and Sensor bar use Infrared and the audience was full of people using devices that emitted Infrared, therefore messing up the remote. From all the articles I've read about Skyward Sword, everyone says the controls are very responsive and 1:1. Nothing to worry about :)

It will take place 100s of years befor OoT and the girl in the poster plays a big role in the creation of the master sword! thats what a lot of forums have been telling me anyway. There will be dungeons with no bosses and bosses with no dungeon. The “dungeon” you are able to play at E3 will be an ice level. It will be the first “dungeon” in the Game.

for zelda wii- i think nintendo have devolped a new generation of zelda. zelda have been stuck in one type of controlling since OOT. now i think we will be able to use the sword freely. like its copying every little movment u do with ur wiimote. in TP it was jsut simple slashing and button mashing. but ofc it was a GC title so now with the motion+ it can be a more free zelda that isnt annoying sometimes when u move around link.

what I think about the woman behind link is the essense of the master sword. we may get the master sword but it's as weak as the Hero's sword or Ordon sword at the start of the game. ganon is doing the same thing with the triforce but at the final boss the girl sacirifices herself and powers the master sword with the energy to repel evil... well that's what i think it could be. oh and the timeline placement it's the first zelda then minish cap then the rest.

Nintendo will completely dominate this E3, absolutely blow everyone else out of the water.

There's Zelda Wii to announce and divulge with all its glory. There's likely more on Other M. We have the 3DS being shown and (likely) demo'd. Add other big games such as Pikmin 3 and who knows what else. There's also Pokemon Black and White and (hopefully) a U.S. Professor Layton 3.

The best part? Nintendo has day 1 of E3; which means they'll set the bar so high no one after will come close :D

Only a select few of people of the public know of the zelda time line, Miyamoto, his associates, and someone else.

I'm pumped for this game, but I hope the bosses are a lot harder, the mid-level bosses in Twilight Princess seemed stronger than the end-level bosses, and Gannondorf (?) was weak, for an end-of-game boss. It sounds like the bosses will be harder though, I can't wait.
