@stix4Him Yes, You are correct. I was remiss in my duties to fully disclose all new releases from Wuhan. The following has been released, 11" splash, 21" Ride, 11", 13" & 15 " China's. also 16" & 18" BLACK China's. That's it for now. We have all of those in stock. I am placing an order today with Wuhan I will report in a PM to you and additions that have been released..........T
@bsale9183 Without saying more than I can. Those are not the new NT's you think they are. We ourselves were offered those cymbals to sell as the new NT's but we turned them down. I know were loosing sales to VL but your not getting what you think you are. TRUST ME on that. When WE start selling the new sizes you know there in. The only real new NT available are the 11" splash and 21" ride that's it. PM me for more info.................T
@chalklucky Hey Bro !! Good to see you my friend. Well as far as a 22" ride I think that's out. In their previous series where a 22" ride was availble, they sold rather poorly. So I think that's the thinking behind trying a 21" Med/Hvy Ride. Now there 20" ride is schedualed to have 2 more weights added to it. One is also a Med/Hvy. So it's clear Wuhan recognises some Drummers enjoy using larger and heavier Rides. T.
T! love your vids.. quick question.. im looking for a good Jazz ride.. something dry and crashable.. any recommendations thats at an affordable price line ?
@ilooklikeppl Glad you Enjoy the Video's. I really think the only thing we carry that might fit the bill is either Silkens Avus series or their Jerez . The Avus is def a dryer sounding Cymbal and the Jerez is billed for Jazz to Rock. I'm pretty sure we have both in 20" rides. Which are priced well below $200. Let me know how you make out. T.
It would benefit everybody if you used some mallets to build the cymbals vibrations. It brings the overtones out at the beginning and make it feel nicer when listening. I love the silkens you have, but this sounds like a garbage can lid... Sorry.
@whoareyou134 You speak wise words, I have been meaning to get a set or two of mallets. Honesty this could be close to the biggest unfulfilled request we have ever gotten. I can't tell you how many times I'd like to use them. Unlike Drumsticks, mallets coax the sound hidden in the Cymbal.I vow to purchase a set of Mallets by the new year !! T
@metalicadude69 Well I think it sounds Different than the 20" ride, not nesacerily "better" per se. If you care to peruse our Video's and I'm playing my personal 20" med NT ride which is a year old against a brand new 20" med NT ride. What a difference, after the rides break in they loose some of that wash and overtone. Regardless this 21" ride sounds great and will be a great addition to Wuhan's New Traditional series. T.
@allmetaliswelcome You are most observant, Grasshopper. We have seriously upgraded our Video and Audio equipment. We can now record in true stereo, with a resolution much better than our old system. Even though it was HD it maxed out at the 720 setting. This camera allows us to go up to the 1050 setting. That combined with there serious increase in ability of our Audio recording which is not only stereo, but Digital also. I was waiting to see if anyone noticed. That took about 13 hrs. Good job T
@FuzzyPicture FP Chill my brother Drummer. Of course we are going to post video's of every new Wuhan that was released. Today we got in an 11", 13" & 15" china's and in the NT series we will be doing vids on the 11" splash ( yes a splash ) and the one already completed the 21" Med/Hvy Ride. The rest hopefully will be in soon. It's almost 1 am and I got atleast 5 more video's to do. So I will be adding them all night long if I have too. I want you guys to hear these ASAP Then head to C&S !! T
