@godapproved I haven't found in Scripture where the people of God hold seminars, workshops and/or teachings about "How to hear God's voice" or recognize when He is speaking through events, dreams or otherwise. Like I said, either you do or you don't hear Him in whatever form He chooses to communicate. Read John 10:1-18. BTW, you chose "godapproved" as your name..what are you hiding?

@MrNicolasAlan I dont see in the bible where it teaches you to swim doesn't mean it is not necessary John 10 is a teaching sir No they didn't have workshops because then christians were discipled they actually saw how their teachers lived and imitated it as their teachers taught them how to live notice you said my sheep hear my voice? that requires that you first obey and be a sheep b4 u hear we learn how to obey God through study of his word and discipleship

@godapproved The law is written on our hearts and mind Jer 31 and Romans 2:15. So we inwardly know what to do. Then once we obeyed we have become sheep so then God speaks. No one speaks to a man they know will not listen to them. Pr 23:9Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words. John 8:47 Whoever belongs to God listens to what God says; the reason you don't listen is that you don't belong to God."

Either you hear God or you don't as the Scriptures say: "My sheep hear my voice". There is no training to hear from another person. He chooses to speak to who He wishes as the Scriptures say:"I will have compassion on who I will have compassion and mercy on who I will have mercy". No one chooses God, He chooses us.

@MrNicolasAlan Just because you hear G-d doesn't mean you recognize the different ways he speaks to us. many people seek for an audible voice where as scripture says if there be a prophet among you I will reveal myself to him in a vision or a dream…Does God always speak in visions and dreams? what about angels, a friend, or a strong unctions? I didn't know those things in my younger walk I learned it.

I have been a prophet for many years. His people hear his voice. Just believe he cares for you and holds nothing against you because you have received Jesus by faith as your Lord. He speaks to you. It is just nice to know when.

@sirchristian12 I am honored that you would ask me. I am also Catholic and after my baptism in the Holy Spirit, I not consider myself a charismatic Catholic. I begged God for the gift of tongues for a couple months. i didnt realize it at the time, but little by little I was letting go of my sins. I was realizing ways in my life that I was sinning. i watched alot of Benny Hinn teachings on youtube. He has a clip titled something like "All prayer in the Spirit" - must see.

Respond to this video... Basically, I read the bible. Prayed to God in faith for the gift of tongues. But what you really want is the HOly SPirit to come to you. You need a baptism in fire. We were baptized in water as babies , but this is the baptism in fire that Jesus brings. Turn from your sins and welcome the Holy Spirit. Be patient. The Holy Spirit knows what you are there for.

@sirchristian12 When I was baptized by the Holy Spirit, I was laying in bed with my hands to sky. i said these words " Holy Spirit Teach me how to pray. I dont even know how to pray." I GOT ZAPPED. I cried like a baby for 20 mins. After that, I had the gift of tongues. I was then led into a healing ministry. I studied Charles and Frances Hunter How to Heal Sick (WATCH ON GOOGLE VIDEOS). I saw many miracles happen. I boldly preached about Jesus to everyone.

@unsound97 Thank you for sharing your story. It means a lot that you would share. I was baptized with the Holy Spirit in 2nd grade. How can I be baptized with fire? Should I ask everyday for the gift? I hear many stories of how people got them and they are different. You clarified it! Do you have any books you would recommend on Gifts?

@sirchristian12 Benny Hinn gets a lot of flack, but he is an awesome teacher. You must watch his videos, except for any ones that mock him. Sing his songs, Holy Spirit Thou Art welcome in this place. Watch Holy Spirit videos, they anoint you just by watching them. Read the bible! Be patient. God gives you gifts when He wants to. You cant twist His arm. He knows your needs. I pray the Lord uses you as His instrument. I pray He gives you gifts of faith to build up HIs church, IJN
