  • Glass doors? Not a problem--I'd be OUT of there.

  • He probably wouldn't have came in the closet if Laurie had been really quiet but I don't blame her for being so scared..

  • @youronebiggestfan : Of course, if she had any brains, there wouldn't be a movie. Michael would've been dealt with in the first 10 minutes by the neighbors. ;])

  • Pause at 13:09

  • OR THEY CAN MAKE HALLOWEEN REMAKE LIKE THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET REMAKE?

  • WHY THEY NOT MAKE THE OLD HALLOWEEN CONTINUE MICHAEL MYRES IS TILL ALIVE IN RESURRECION

  • DIE SISTER DIE!!!

  • Nothing compares to john carpenter's work. They kept the filth and cussing out of movies in the good old days and focused on the horror.I love this movie.

  • He looks somewhat deformed on his left side of his face at 13:10. The opening credits focused on the pumpkin's left side. The left side must mean something important here?

  • @gaje90 He looks like that cause she stuck a clothes hanger in his eye.

  • @Leatherbubba : I thought it was a knitting needle....

  • How could a man survive that many shots and fall from that height? I swear he's not human.

  • @twilightwindwaker lol i think they have established he's not human

  • @failmodule What is he then? A vampire a demon?

  • @twilightwindwaker i think he might just be a zombie or something

  • @failmodule That would explain why he walks slowly.

  • 13:22 Michael Myers is dancing

  • my pants are full

  • Epic.....

  • Hide yo kids

    Hide yo wives

    Hide yo husbands

    Their killin' everybody out here

  • ScariestMovie iv Eva seen in my life real talk

  • Scariest

  • wth you NEVER drop your weapon even when you THINK it is safe! Horror movie survival rule 6.

  • ugh. NEVER PUT THE WEAPON DOWN. stupiiid.

  • @saraviviabbynimiSVAN Yep...nor do you ever stop running, never ever ever say "I think we're safe!" nor do you ever ever jump into the front seat of the car without looking in the back seat first! LOL....some of the many rules I've learned from watching horror movies over the years.

  • @rtds9fan IKR. it's annoying when they act so stupid. but then again i probably wouldn't be thinking about all the survival rules of horror movies if i'm in one being chased by a psycho.

  • My favorite climax :) I hate zombie's original film because laurie is way different and they swear constantly..

  • how did the closet with lyndas corpse open

  • pause @ 13:09

  • Michael without a mask *GASP*

  • if u notice the knife at the coach how come its already there while he used it to kill laurie when he was upstairs and it was the same knife she stabbed him with?!

  • Run, Bitch, Run! He goin' kiil you! D:

  • Laurie looked hot

  • why are all these doors so hard to open from the inside lol

  • @BIockbusterz ohh

  • When he started choking her she should have dropped her weight, then transitioned into a armbar and got that submission xD.

  • Is This Movie Fliped To Avoid Copyright

  • @BIockbusterz no i dont sorry

  • @BIockbusterz ohh thanks

  • 'THE KEYYYYYYYYYYYZZZZZZZZZZ...THE KEYZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'

  • why the fuck would she drop the knife? I would be holding onto that for dear life in case he wakes up.

  • It's funny how a guy who has no understanding of anything understands how he must break a door in order to unlock it...

  • why didnt he stab her in the back when she fell of the stairs

  • holy fuck this movie is thrilling..

  • sorry laurie, you didnt listen to your son, shoulda coulda woulda ;)

  • @TheCandirox that aint her son laurie's a teenage babysitty :p

  • @MrMarioheat i dont know this stuff im new to horror films ;)

  • He's not supposed to be trying to kill her ! Thats his sister or whatever !

  • tommy doyle sure was fascinated by the boogeyman. tommy didn't know much about the boogyman, but tommy certainly knew that noone could kill the boogyman. it sure is good that tommy remembered that noone could kill the boogyman.

  • the chase scene i think was the best in this movie

i still perfer the 2007 version

Jamie Lee Curtis is a wonderful actress

  • 1978 halloween is better than 2007 halloween

  • @88LLohe

I know! there is so much more suspense and terror in this version! I love it and I love the music!

  • @88LLohe agreed (:

  • @88LLohe Only someone with VERY bad taste would state that Zombie's atrocious dreck was better than Carpenter's horror masterwork.

  • @88LLohe never !!

  • @BIockbusterz I also think he is cruel and a psycho bully, I always hated it when he brutally murders females. Wouldn't you agree that in h20, when his head got chopped off with an ax, that should have ended his terror era for good? I think that would've been the perfect ending of him.

The remakes and halloween resurection in 2002 killed his character

  • @17NJDevilsfan that wasnt michael. Laurie chopped off the wrong persons head in h20. they say that in hallowee resurrection

  • @pandabearattackify Yeah I heard. I wonder why they never had it on camera with Mike crushing a cops larynx and than switcthing clohtes with him and than put his mask on him so Laurie will think it's him.

    I don't understand why that wasn't seen

  • @17NJDevilsfan Why do you only consider it cruel how he killed females?

  • @Punisherfan123 Most are innocent and helpless, what did they ever do to him to deserve that? also, ladies are much weaker than men

  • @17NJDevilsfan True, but I mean why only call it cruel how he killed females only, males didn't do anything either?

  • @Punisherfan123 Because they are innocent and it is a piece of cake to attack females that are off guard, I just find that cruel about him. It angered me in halloween 2 when he killed a innocent teenage girl who had nothing to do with him

Some of the guys he kills are innocent too. I find it so unrealistic when he sqaushes their face with his bare hand like it's paper to crumble up and than they bleed badley.

  • @17NJDevilsfan True, but are you talking about original or remake where e kills teenage girl?

  • @Punisherfan123 Original one, the one where Laurie shot Mike in the eyes and than Dr. Loomis lit him on fire. Mike broke into the teenage girls home and than ambushed her to slit her throat

  • @17NJDevilsfan Was it one of Laurie's friends, because he kills them too, but in very first one he choked a guy half to death, then stabbed him into a wall through his chest, and kept choking him till he died.

  • @Punisherfan123 No. When Mike broke into a elderly couples home, he stole a knife from their kitchen, he also left a little blood on the counter. He than leaves their home and when the old lady went back into the kitchen, she screamed when she saw blood on the counter. The teenage girl who I told you about was their neighbor and she stepped outside and hollered out to the old lady if she is alright, Michael heard her while he was outside, when the old lady didn't respond to the teenage girl

  • @Punisherfan123 the teenage girl decided to call her instead and than Mike breaks into her home and the girl heard her door open and was now scared and she says who is there...No response, when she entered the liviing room, Mike ambushed her and than slit her throat. You remember that? It angered me when he did that. Why is he this evil?

Yeah I saw Mike do that in the very first movie, I hated how they exaggerated his super human powers

  • @17NJDevilsfan He's supposed to be a pure evil entity, like some kind of immortal super-human demon. Remember in the 4th Michael crushed that one guy's head, while rising him above him, then later he stabbed his hand into the lower jaw of the driver of that truck, then threw him out the window while the truck was speeding down the road, then he tried to hijack it, but then the passenger stopped the truck abruptly then he flew off the roof? That part was cool.

  • @Punisherfan123 I remember that. When he flew off the roof and than made hard contact onto the street, how does he not have lacerations and any broken bones? Was he done wrong by his family or something? Could that explain why he's this horribly evil?

  • @17NJDevilsfan He's immortal. He wasn't hurt or anything by his family, it's unknown why he's evil, that's one reason why he's WAY scarier than the remake.

  • @Punisherfan123 Yeah the remakes are shiity, I heard Michael makes noises when killing people and that kills his character. In the orginals when he stands there all silent and just stares at you, it had me shaking in my boots everytime.

Maybe he isn't immortal to having explosives detnated on him. Lets say if Laurie did that, that would've probbably been enough to kill him once and for all I bet...At first he would need to be tranquelized

  • @17NJDevilsfan He'd probably survive, but since he'd be in lots of pieces he couldn't do anything though.

  • @Punisherfan123 Than that's the only way Hoddenfield would be safe LOL.

  • pause at 13:20, creepy shit right there

  • @BIockbusterz Yeah, he must not feel any pain at all. I take back the part when I said the movie is a fail when he fell out of the window after getting shot by Dr. Loomis because what makes the movie scary is that he can't ever feel pain which is probbably why he never dies.

  • the michael myers mask from this one was my fav of all the masks he wore

  • i was born halloween 84' so you know i love this stuff

  • "This film contains some violent content!" ...duh XD

  • when he fell out of the window like that after getting shot, he not only should be dead, but he also should have a damaged spinal cord that should prevent him from moving again. Since he still surives this by vanishing and reamaining on the loose is fucking impossible. What a fail!!

  • @17NJDevilsfan dude its a fucking movie it does not have to be realistic honestly think how stupid movies would be if they were realistic, films are for entertainment not nitpicking every fucking scene.

  • Comment removed

  • @17NJDevilsfan I you actually think about not many horror movies are very real but they still are scary

  • @snika999 your english was off. What were you trying to say?

  • 12:12 is fucking creepy

  • Tony Moran is weird...the right face for Michael.when I first watched it I was 13...I was terrified for a week long..crazy.......this last part is unmatchable

  • Laurie: "It was the boogieman"

Loomis: "As a matter of fact, it was."

    Brilliant.

  • 3:03 has got to be the most bone chilling moment of the whole movie! I love it!

That, and I just love all the thought and time Michael puts into his 'work'. Loomis nailed it earlier when he described him as 'inhumanly patient'.

  • 3:03 has got to be the most bone chilling moment of the whole movie! I love it!

  • those neighbours are jackasses :P

  • this is my favorite scene of all time! michael chase laurie! laurie screaming for help!

  • Dr Loomis to the rescue :) have always loved the moment where Dr Loomis comes to save the day :).
