Actually, they are sound robots so here is the thing:

There was a main program created, RL some call it. It had the original data for Rin and Len with two diffrent voices and a hermaphrodite sexuality. Rin was forged as a clone of the female parts as Len was the same for the male. They age at exactly the same time, so if they both die of natural causes, they will die at the same time.
