Great video! Very usefull to me as I'm building my mame cabinet at the moment and doing the control panel for it at the moment. I am just confused how the IPAC, the Keyboard and the Computer are connected. Do you first have to connect the keyboard to the IPAC, then the IPAC to the Computer?
Great video. I'm now planning on redoing the wiring on my MAME cabinet since it looks pretty easy.
When you saw that block button wasn't configured, you went to the MAME configuration page. How did you know that the button missing configuration was button 2 in MAME? I find myself guessing and ruining the configuration even more when there are issues like that.
@jimfath i only knew because of how many times i've configured mortal kombat games in mame. Most games the layout is easy, they are in order, but mk has the wierd "X" layout witch mixes it up. Button 1 is HP, 2 is BL, 3 is HK, 4 is LP, 5 is LK and for MK3 and later button 6 is RUN
