Ever since I went to Universal Studios and heard this song there, it's stuck in my head as the representation of the heartwarming Hollywood of yesteryear.
"oh my god". lol. (trust me, you have to have seen the other clip).
Oh, I'll jump on the bandwaon also, what's with the camera work? (sarcasm) wah, wah, wah. All you people should shut the fuck up and just be glad the clip was posted for your ungrateful punk asses!
Terrific! The most geniusest composer ever to write for screen. I'm surprised you could record up so close. Still, it would have helped to place the camera inconspicuously on the balcony or something, and I would like to hear the whole performance.
I swear THE SONG IS ON THE SOUNDTRACK. Want proof? I have it on my iTunes: its played in the track called "Halloween", then in "Escape/Chase/Saying Goodbye" and then in "End Credits". Just pick the CD up in a store.
This cameraman who made this vid was probably drunk.... don't touch the electronics if u are usin' them like a child.... fool /but the music is superb of course/
One of the greatest scores in cinema ever.

You need to invest into a Tripod... was there an earthquake during the performance?

What a shitty cameraman who is filming this.
YogaNate79 3 years ago 12
they took the time to go film it and put it up for you to enjoy. i think you should thank them instead of criticizing them.

I swear this song isn't on the ET soundtrack... unless it's under another track name.

john williams is a genius bt he shld know how hard it is to play some of the parts inside-the harp part, for example, is crazy

He think he does know...
ruiribeiro80 4 years ago
yeah I would agree, with that much experience in music, I wouldn't be surprised if he knew how to play almost each of those instruments.

Sorry... I mean: I Think he does know! All genius composers brake the rules once in a while. But it works.

They clapped when they recognized what he was playing. ET is very near and dear to the hearts of many people. No harm no foul.
bmac161 4 years ago
shouldn't you clap after the piece is done?
niewy11892 4 years ago
You clap whenever it compels you. That's the custom.

If that novice, drunk or not, did not record this clip because he didn't want use "them like a child", we wouldn't be enjoying this vid. (FWIW)
