@curiousgeorgieo The reason was his opponent negated his attack with mukaezuki showing that Funatsu didn't control the centreline. The regulations state that you cannot score yuko datotsu (correct strike) when your opponent's kensen (sword tip) is resting against any part of your upper body. b
