  • Nice review !

Can someone tell me what is the bird we hear singing back? ... I will buy food for birds to attract them here. I like their songs like i like beer !

  • Great beer as most of theirs are, Maudite being my favorite, really want to find the one that's meant to be served hot like tea. I have a 750 of Trois pistoles and Terrible. But I think I shall be finally trying the St.Bernardus this weekend.

  • @HighlandBerserkr The "hot tea" one is Quelque Chose (sp?). I haven't had it, but I've heard nice things. St. Bernardus is one of my all-time favorite beers, reviewed last year by me if you're interested in perusing my archives. Cheers!

  • I had it on Draft and in the Bottle and if you and find it on Draft please try "The End OF The World" on draft. cause its Phenomenal.

  • @tampavav I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. Cheers!

  • For some reason the small bottles I have had from them have been very metallic. I almost did not even give them a shot after my first experience but i did and love La Fin Du Monde.

Love the reviews! Keep them coming!

  • @Dashua28 I typically buy the 750mL bottles but for economic reasons bought a 330mL for the review. For technical reasons bottle-conditioned beers with caps tend to be slightly sweeter than those with corks.

  • My favorite from them that I can get here in Ontario.

  • @albnorhyno Yeah, I think this one just shot to the top of my list. Typically I prefer their darker beers, but this one is really good.

  • @TheEndosymbiosis The trois pistoles I really like as well, and I like the black currant and apple ephemeres, since they are actually done right, with musk and fruit chunks still floating in the beer! Their best stuff though I can't even find here I have to venture to quebec for unfortunately...keep up the good work boss!

  • Have a caged & corked bottle in the fridge, May have to vrack it open soon. Sounds delicious,

  • @KeithsBeerReviews It's quite nice. I generally buy the 750mL bottles that are corked and caged, but economics won out in this case.

  • Its been a while since ive had this, it may be time to give it another go around.

  • @bunkernate Yeah, definitely. I like it a lot more than I thought I did.

  • One of my favorite tripels because it's a bit different from the Belgium ones. Nice sweetness but not cloying like you said. I definitely need to review this one.

Also for future collab reviews we could do whatever Unibroue beers you haven't reviewed.

  • @StumpyJoeJr Sure! Does San Diego still have bottles of the Quatre-Centième, the one commemorating the 400th anniversary of Quebec City? Brewed in 2008, and I've been eyeing the bottles in curiosity wondering if they're still decent.

  • @TheEndosymbiosis I might. Been awhile since I've looked at Unibroue beers. Also I found out that I can get Van Twee here.

  • <3 Maudite and La Fin Du Monde.

  • @TheAlmightyFSM Agreed. I also really like Ephemere, although I don't have a review scheduled. One of the better overtly "fruity" beers.

  • Yeah this a fun, tasty beer. Drinkability is a little low, though. I really should review Unibroue's stuff more often. Do you get Dieu Du Ciel where you live?

  • @ChadzBeerReviews Unfortunately not, although I've seen their stuff in Chicago and Indianapolis. I would have picked some up last time I was in Chicago, but there were many other beers higher on my list.

  • It is a Triple sir :)

  • @BeerGeekNation The problems that come of not looking up details on a beer before shooting. My bad. This was "second in line" after I had issues with another beer that precluded me using the footage (or even finishing the beer).
