Call of Duty 1 and 2 were my favorites by far, probably because they had a certain sense of realism to them. I felt like the events in the games could have happened (or they actually happened the way they were portrayed in the game). Then CoD 4 came out, and that kinda killed the realism. CoD 3 didn't help much either, that was too cinematic.
