Everyone at PRIDE parades has already heard the messages of the street preachers. Everyone at PRIDE parades is already aware of the political positions of the religious extremists in this country. So to maintain that what these street preachers is doing is "simply spreading the Gospel" or "simply exercising their right to free speech" is a lie. Jesus said that, and His words are found in the Bible. Jesus talked more about Hell than any other topic; people will die and go to Hell because their sin separates them from God. It's not about demeaning people, it's about warning them and giving them the good news that Jesus paid the way for them to escape Hell.

Continued... In regards to your comment about "all sins [being] equal", this is not true. Homosexuality is considered an abomination by God and is a sin unto death. In John 19:11, Jesus acknowledged that some sins are greater than others by citing that those who delivered him to Pilate "hath the greater sin." However, any sin will indeed separate a person from God; this is why each of us must repent of our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ or perish.
