  • What kind of buzzbait?

  • @huntman125 i think the best conditions for fishing top water, is when its sunny, and the bass are hunting on top, because the surface of the water is warm

  • liz ur one of the finest lady fisherwoman ive ever seen.

  • What are the beat conditions for fishing topwater lures?

  • @huntman125 Bout 30 min. before dark to pitch black. You can also fish it before dark in very shady areas. Also fall is a good time anywhere from 50 to 85 degree water.

  • middle of the day, holy crap, thats crazy, is it cool outside during this..

  • buzzbait only good if you go to a good lake rather than that it's nothing...walking lures like zara or sammys and poppers will do way better

  • top water bass fishing is addicting. my favorite way to fish.

  • hey cananyone tell me what the name of the lure is?

  • @catfishchris1 I think he's using a buzzbait

  • Wait, a little longer on that hook set! If you dont have a trailer hook use one!

  • there is no point in fishing unless you cook it

  • @sneakyninja273 What if everybody thought that way. Then there were no fish left in a certain pond/ lake.

  • here's a tip bro on buzz bait's use a travler hook #0-2 size you wont miss a fish

  • dude you lost a ton of fish in this video. try changing you hooks to better ones, like Mustad KVD elite trebles, and u might try a trailer hook on those buzz baits. that might save you a few fish. but other than that, cool vid.

  • i love topwater action,I checked out your guys web site pretty cool, visit mine gorilla-fishing com

  • i love topwater action,I checked out your guys web site pretty cool, visit mine gorilla-fishing

  • you found a sweet spot in there dude. nice population of good fish

  • Dude set the hook!!!!!!!

  • those fish must be boaring they dont seem to fight at all

  • Ya'll are from bama too ? awesome im from Gadsden i fish the coosa mainly and lake guntersville ... where is this place ? id love to get a place i could catch bass every cast like this hahah

  • There is nothing like good topwater fishing when that bass slams that lure ..

  • Ill let you people in on something..That works or me %99 of the time..And I learned from a local semi pro bass fisherman...When fihing top water with any lure except buzbait..Dont normally work on a buzzbait...When the fish takes it under....Count to 3 then set the hook...Not a garuentee..But it works trust me

  • @2066241 Agreed. My biggest prob when it comes to top-water bass lures of any kind is setting the hook too quick.

  • @wcj197810 Yes, Mine too...It is EXCITING to see a Big boil in the water when they take your lure it is hard to wait...but it WILL pay off!

  • @wcj197810 its hard not to jerk when they hit,I find frogs are the hardest but by far the most fun, just have to remember to wait that critical split second!

  • @wcj197810 same here... i went fishing today and caught 7 big ones on a heddon walk the dog lure but i missed about 70 othe bites. haha

  • @dax458 Probably a Zara Spook, great lures. On March 3rd, 2005 I was throwing a Heddon Super Spook and caught the Lake Coleman Record Largemouth Bass(12.92lbs, 26.75 inches long).

  • @BobLeeSwagger01 wow that sounds like a fun day!!

  • @wcj197810 same here..lol...just with frogs..buzzbait i get a lil excited too

  • 3 cast in a row nice! my favorite topwater is a cotton cordell boy howdy boy do they slam it!

  • uuuuuuuhhhh. Ok first off never use fluorocarbon on topwater baits it sinks. second buzzbaits are great in rivers especialy on days with alot of chop i catch bass and muskies like this. dark baits on cloudy days and light colored baits on sunny days. ok i feel better now. by the way good fishin brother. tight lines.

  • i use a hula popper and i catch largemouth bass every time i go

  • I absolutely love me some top water action .great video

  • is that an Alabama or Arkansas hat?

  • ya when u throw a buzz bait throw it with 14 pound tes line on florocarbine line itz perfect

  • you know dam well all you fuckers dont know shit about bass fishing!, so shut your pie holes already!

  • when i fish 4 ibass with a twirl tail lure they never stay on line even when they the bite the hook sucks huh

  • nice fish

  • this is probably a stupid ? but i was wondering ifyou could use a buzzbait in the river and still get bites... ive always used them in ponds only and havent had a whole bunch of success with them in rivers so could someone reply to this cuz i really would like to know

  • i wouldn't think so because a buzzbait is really for calmer water, well i guess if the water is calm in the river then you could. spinnerbaits would work really well though.

  • hey when u miss a fish off of buzzbaits try a senko in the same spot u missed hjim at 99.1% of te time it works

  • a senko doesn't usually work for me, but a good bait you can try is a zoom minnow texas rig with no weight. white is good so they have a good visual of it. A senko will work if it's texas style wit no weight and you work it like a jerk bait.

  • nice job catching those fish

  • Im about to leave fishing and will be using top water lures. had to watch this before I left. Now im pumped. thanks for sharing.

  • Roll Tide! from montgomery.

  • I never get anything on buzzbaits poppers work better for me

  • I have a few questions.. first, does a heavier line cast further(baitcaster)? second, how do you get enough weight on a top water bait to cast it far without puting split shots on it ( which always make it sink). third, how do you keep buzz baits on top of the water?

  • 1st No heavy line is not going to cast further 2nd You use Bait casting rod. 3rd there are buzz baits made to stay on top of the water.Well little bit under surface. Good luck.

  • heavy line does not cast farther, but shorter. second buy a heavier top water bait or put the split shots 4 fett above the lure on the line. third get a top water buzzbait.

  • you shouldnt have to cast a topwater that far in the first place to the weight of the lure is enough and for buzzbaits to stay ontop of the water just hold your rod tip up and adjust as needed

  • when a buzz bait hits the water it will sink. You just have to reel a bit fast when it hits. 2nd use a bait caster. 3rd 10-14 lb test mono or fluorocarbon is perfect for most buzzbait applications

  • 1 use a bait caster and properly tune it for the lure you are using.

2 10-14 lb mono or braid. dont use flouro. flouro is made to sink. not good for topwater.

3 dont set the hook on the strike. wait a second lower the rod and then set the hook.

  • What part of the country is this in?

  • god. Frogs are so good for catching the big bass of a lifetime! U can use em anywhere also.

  • good woman right there. She was just out filming you having a blast on those bass. Hope you cooked her dinner.

  • this looks like it's in the tail end of lake tholocco on ft. rucker but i've been back there in the middle of july and never had this kind of action. where ever you guys are at you did a good job of wakin' em up! catch and release way to go.

  • I LOVE FISHING. IS ADAM ON IT IS MARCUS

  • its a buzzbait is what he is using.

  • Great topwater fishing...I wish they where always on like that !!!

  • Nothing better than topwater, but those bass don't seem like they're fighting too hard.

  • were is this place its awsome!

  • those frogs in the bg are going to take over. I believe they're already taking over Hawaii!

  • you guys are cleaning up

  • i use to think catfishing was fun but the first time i went topwater fishing i was amazed since then thats all i do

  • nice awsome what all luers did u use

  • first half was a buzzbait i think and the second lure looked like a skitter pop. good video i like seeing the catch and release

  • Nice video, surface yes great fun.

  • nice

  • where i live the bass dont acually jump attack the lure, they just suck it under lol

  • There is NOTHINg cooler than topwater fishing. I wouldn't even care if I didn't hook or lost the fish, just watching it attack your lure on the top makes it so much fun =D

  • How big were these?

  • i love top water bass fishing the hooks are so fun to watch and use! and the enviroment is awsomme thats what makes it fun :D! good job on the vid this was what i was looking for

  • nice
