  • thumbs ups if you love the kings and arco arena and not Power Balance Pavilion

  • I never knew this song ever had lyrics! I listen to the Comfort Eagle album all the time, and all it has is the instrumental version.

  • The Cake is a lie.

  • this shit go hard like styles p holiday

  • was a great instrumental even better with words

  • I dont know as much as I love cake and the singer

I like the instrumental version better the tune is just so bad ass

  • wow, the city is finally making a sports complex but the maloofs are too impatient to wait for it to be constructed...Honda center? Really? NOTHING works in anaheim except hockey, they've tried it, not even the lakers or clippers want this, L.A. has no NFL, but 3 NBA teams? ugh...

Sacramento Fans were promised with their team, there is probably no other fanbase in america that would love their team, losing or winning, this is a shameful thing, anaheim should give up, i give this move 5 years

  • My favorite part is when he sing about Arco Arena

  • arco arena for life! fuck anaheim!

  • Ohh this song has me mesmerized!!!!

  • BYE BYE KINGS... PEACE

  • Power Balance Pavilion just doesn't have the same ring to it...

  • bye bye arco arena!

  • Its amgic jay z and lenny kravitz

  • @tankguru The producer for Jay's Gunz n Roses track (Heavy D) didn't have to do much to this when he made it...

  • @WMBunch1983 i know

  • @WMBunch1983 I think he was just pointing out that they sampled it, not necessarily saying that theirs is better or that Heavy D created some masterpiece as opposed to this

  • F**K F**K F**K F**KEDY F**K I love this song!

  • 1 person walks in circles

  • This is really cool. Thanks for uploading.

  • Reminds me vaguely of Comfort Eagle (the song) effectually.

  • Interesting.. If this version had been recorded as cleanly as the instrumental I bet more folks would like it.

  • How come the singer didn't say "Oh yeah, all right" like he does in every other Cake song? It seems as if something is missing :-)

  • it's in the background of the instrumental, listen close

  • Arco is always so crowded but CAKE is from Sac, so that makes up for it

  • I prefer it without vocals but the vocal track is interesting.

  • The Kings suck! I mean even wit Tyreke Evans, Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes! I mean, K Martin can't even stay healthy for weeks at a time and now Garcia's down! Things just keep getting worse and worse for this team.

  • Is the main part played on a regular guitar? It almost sounds like a shamisen...

  • The Shamisen is more trebly in sound

  • It is played on a really shitty acoustic that the lead singer always plays on.

  • I fucking hate this version the lyrics make it sound extremely fucking random i'd rather have only instruments

  • Thanks for the upload.

I wanted to hear this, after hearing the instrumental version.

Surprisingly I like the instrumental version better, but that's just personal opinion. *shrugs*

  • Always wondered about the meaning of that one...nice to hear that version!

  • Wow, i kinda like this more with vocals. But the album instrumental is VERY cool too. In this case, i dont think the vocals take attention from the music. I think they should've left it like this but i gotta respect the cake. They know what they're doing.

  • there is something so creepy about this song

  • yeah, I always feel a sense of impending doom when I hear this song

  • y does it sound creepy, cause a band in sacramento,ca made a song to tribute the Sacramento Kings history, and shit like that. Is that what u mean by creepy

  • the lyrics have nothing to do with it

    just the music

  • the lyrics have everything to do with it. king's palace is a reference to the Sacramento kings, that play in arco arena. look up things before you say stuff.

  • I meant the lyrics have nothing do to with it being eerie.

    stop being a douche.

  • damn my bad no need to call me a douche lol. i just thought for a sec you were one of the dozens of stupid ppl on here who were like HURRR WAT IS ARE-CO ARENA, WHO ARE THE KINGS WHY DO THEY FOLLOW A BALL etc

  • it also didn't show your post as a reply, but as an independent comment. stupid youtube.

  • Im taking notes in class to this... I feel like a freaking zombie.

    Good song.

  • Hey, you should try their cover of Strangers in the Night. It was featured on the soundtrack for Stubbs the Zombie. ;)

  • They're from Sacramento.

  • because it's a sacramento store and they're form sacramento

  • Arco Arena is the name of where the Sacramento Kings play. CAKE is from Sacramento.

  • Because of the city of Sacramento sold out to an oil corporation. all of our public places are now a part of corporate advertising. That's what happens when repugs take over the earth.

  • @coyotee62 Hey brainiac, the city doesn't own the Arena.

  • @pmpboarder HOLY CRAP THAT GAME AND ITS SOUNDTRACK ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • "Why run in circles... when u can win?" The problem is that the fuckin' Sacremento Kings can't WIN! They fuckin' suck, so what else to do but walk around and waste time.

  • SacTown is home, for me and them.

  • @jdisney69 i honestly dont get this song

  • Comment removed

  • no, that's the instrumental version. I want the vocal version.

  • this is the only song by cake i don't have.. where can i buy it?

  • This song is MUCH better without these vocals, but thanks for putting this up.

  • word. It would be really interesting to learn about the process behind this song.

  • I like this bit more than the non-vocal track.

  • Beautiful!

  • anyone care to see my acoustic guitar cover of this awesomely awesome song?

or you could watch my "shadow stabbing" cover.

    also by cake...of course.

  • Has Cake ever performed Arco Arena with vocals live?

  • Do they play this song before all of the Sacramento Kings home games? I would be so amped. The crowd has the loudest sports roar at 130 decibles. Oh and they have Ron Artest...LOL!

  • thats badass if they do play this song at kings games. this song is great shit with the vocals

  • Sure is...Great song!

  • They got no one now. They even lost fuckin' Salmons, fuckin' shitty Kings. They'll never be as good as they were during the Webber-Divac years ever again! Back to the lulls like during the Wayman Tisdale and Mitch Richmond days!

  • Very excellent.

  • could you if at all possable send this song to me in a mp3 file?

  • Where did you find this?

  • The site in the info box (CAKEography) used to host the songs, but they have since been removed. I assume this is due to either bandwidth expenses, or at the request of the band. I've been a long time visitor of the site, and easily got my hands on this when it was available. Which, in this song's case, was back in November of 2006!

I'm still hunting for this song in CD form, though.

  • Love the vocal version! Thanks for adding.

  • You're very welcome! I love your username, by the way.

  • @RubySeezAll siiick name lol
