@koozbuz. Thanks it didn't sound like Legends from Hbg.,Pa. Great tune though! Check out High Towers by the Legends from Pa. recorded around the same time. Dan Hartman was around 16 or 17 at the time
Not from Harrisburg. This is the Legends of Holland Michigan, who recorded this tune at Fenton Records in Sparta, Michigan 1967. The lead singer/keyboards was Ray Vasquez, drummer John Bertalan, bass player Andy Fierro, and lead guitar Scott Hamberg. The song "I'll Come Again" was co-written by Vasquez-Hamberg, and was the flip side of "I'm Just A Guy". Later they collaborated with Ray Hummell of JuJu's fame forming a new group, Traffic Jams, recording Hummell's tunes "Gentle Rain", "Fine Day".
@HumanPuddingPgh well early punk bands like richard hell and the voidoids sounded like early garage rock bands, and late garage rock bands like the MC5 and the Stooges sound like early punk bands. that and like punk Garage rock uses simplistic song structure
Yes indeed, my wife would kill me, if I´d had the same tune on ours (she is one of these hit parade lovers) ...but this is one of 60s best tracks and one of the best tracks ever...
Nice to see I'm not the only one to buy this set...

Is this "Legends" from Harrisburg, Pa. An early band which featured Dan Hartman of Edgar Winter Group fame? Great song.

good song, never fully understood how 60s garage rock became known as 60s punk though? todays "punk" is all whiny left wing political bs...
