This video does sound a little like glissando but the software I've written definitely gives the Poly 800 real portamento. There are two parameters that can be adjusted to improve the portamento so that it that sounds less like glissando. But low pitched sounds do sound better in portamento mode rather than high pitched. The higher pitched the sound the more glissando it sounds like. This is because of the hardware performance limitations of the pitch bend circuitry.

Nice how did u do that? Poly EX(?!) 800? what is EX? My poly 800 does not have portamento, is that a mod thats possible to do?
