  • why fkn do that, unless u gonna smelt it out to 99.999 then whats the point, who is going to by that bar, not knowing the exact purity.. noone thats who

  • dude! there were diamonds in there!

  • Hi,

What happens to the other metals in the 10k, 14k, 18k, when you make a large brick like that?

Does it mix in with it or does it separate?

  • @carpediem0809 ist all 22 k it sez so in the description

  • I lost my genetalia in an unfortunate smelting accident.... hence the name .... goldmember (yo_o)y "troll face"

  • MUSIC PLEASE :O

  • can i have it?

  • Wife: honey have u seen my gold earing?

    Him : ......NO

  • Lol imagine he'd drop the can o gold n the floor ;D

  • Problem with continually melting down gold is, you lose about 2% as evaporation. Secondly you cant be sure that gold is 22K pure, it really should be refined before being turned into an investment bar.

  • I found this genuinely interesting despite me not caring or knowing the first thing about anything I'm seeing here. I guess I just I like the colors. Lol.

  • Nice Work!

  • Music please:D

  • that's it turn that useless jewelry into something useful, gold belongs in technology!

  • Good thing my girlfriend likes it better if I made her a present instead of buying her something, it means more to make something than buy it.......... HAHA just kidding. I don't have a girlfriend.

  • Jewelry is the second biggest scam in the world besides religion. I can buy a 24k gold ring for $2000 and go straight from jewelry store to sell it for gold content. $850. What a scam.

  • @larsjake

When you pay for jewellery, you are not only paying for gold content, you are paying for craftsmanship as well as overheads. Idiot. Think before posting comments please.

  • @zed6952 No how about yo ugo fuck yourself and continue to live your life as a sheep fag! Yea you want to pay over inflated prices for so called workmanship lol, what a tool!

  • @womo1975

No one forces you to buy jewelry. Don't embarrass yourself further. You obviously have no understanding of economics.

  • REV 18

  • i wish i could take a wash from the melted gold......,what do u say????/lol

  • that's a good way to break that crucible, tapping it against a hard surface when it's hot like that. On the other hand, with a gold bar like that, you can afford to buy a lot of them. BTW, do you purify the gold by electrolysis or some other method, as not all that gold is 24 karat, correct

  • @fgleich I just reread the description and saw that 22 karat, er, carat mention thing

  • How much is it worth...

  • I want that bar O_O

  • Yeah but that gold is not pure 24 carat scrap.

  • good way to get rid of stolen jewlery.

  • i want one!

  • I know a website that offers a secret code that produces 90% success ratio on gold trading. Go check them out, just google Gold Trading Academy and make as much money as you want

  • TREASURE :DD

  • lol you took Jeffs music, are you a firearm fan?

  • Does gold necessarily glow in its liquid state? That is, is its melting point low enough that it could conceivably be liquid and not glow?

  • My favorite part is when he sticks his finger in the crucible.

  • @Rusticating Why is this not top rated comment!!

  • awesome!

  • When smelting items like this that have a high solder content, like the complex chain and items soldered together from lots of small parts, will the solder turn to slag in the smelting process?Apart from Borax are the smelting additives you can use to remove the solder content which in turn refines the gold that bit closer back to 22K?Apart from using mercury to make amalgam and then driving off the mercury or using cyanide in an electrolysis set up,is there any other way to refine it to 24K??

  • You melted a watch

  • GROOVY!

    TF2 Engineers music ;D

  • buttery gold....mmmmm.

  • Yo can I do this with a blowtorch?

  • just 2 more and two sticks u can make a golden pickaxe

  • i wanna smell the smokes lol

  • So gold is worth 1000 dollars or a bout £900 an Oz. so im guessing thats about £400-£1000 depending how Thick (mass that is depending on how it set)

  • @SilaconYT $1627 USD/oz right now

  • @Decoy8 So that's about £991 per ounce. Sorry my idea of dollars came from an old gold mining documentary who said its about 400-600 $'s at that time.

  • @SilaconYT No need to apologize, just wanted to make sure people knew the gold price just in case you or someone else are planning to sell some gold, so you won't get ripped off! :)

  • all your girlfriends jewerly

  • when you do this how much gold do you think is lost during the transformation?

  • no chance on licking that bowl Huh!

  • what does it smell like?

  • how did i end up here? 0.o

  • @thepieguylol lol was asking the same question to myself... how come watching a 3d demo reel have that as a related video...

  • @thepieguylol Skill you want to know in case shit ever hits the fan

  • @tizunk who are you? :O

  • @thepieguylol I : Minecraft -> Volcano -> Lava -> Melting -> here

  • holy shit where does he get that can i have some

  • that ALOT of gold

  • smelted gold can never be 100 percent pure, only aqua regia, icp, and electrowhinning can do that

  • your process and equipment could be better.

  • Anyone dumb enough to sell jewelry to these gold hawks doesn't deserve it...gold will ALWAYS be more valuable in jewelry form.

  • A lot of craftsmanship. gone.

  • what the fuck is this bottle made of? Wolverine's adamantium? damn..

  • damn there looks there was some nice jewellery there b 4 u melted it down

  • I wonder what would happen if you gave that bar of gold to a cashier at McDonalds and asked for change...

  • lol I want a gold bar like that just to carry around :P

  • You guys pay much for heating?

  • Lookin' at that BRICK, I think of all the men who worked so hard to buy those gold items (to impress) at an inflated price so some bitch could call it excess gold, sell it at pennies of the price paid, and wave a cheque infront of her stuck-up stinky friends, probably finishes by saying he owes me, or he should have bought me better gold.

When I'm shopping for a nice gift, this is NOT what I'm wishing becomes of it.

  • @ipromisenot yep.. makes me glad i didn't spend much on my wife's engagement and wedding ring.. and i defiantly said no to a eternity ring... because all she ended up doing was taking the kids, leaving me, and moving from this beautiful holiday location to the the slums of this state where she came from just so she could be close to mummy and daddy.

  • @ipromisenot maybe that gold was purchased by a woman for herself...........hmmmmm. if ur with a stuck up bitch who demands jewelry and you buy it......thats kind of your fault

  • @ipromisenot So much "gold" is bought under the pretext of "love",the classic "If you love me buy me huge gold ring with a massive diamond" and as you say some poor sod works his guts out and uses all his savings to buy her something to show how much he loves her, just for her five minutes later to forget about it completely and move onto yet another "want".Things then go sour when he can "please" her,she buggers off and sells all her gold for peanuts and it ends up here in the smelter.

  • @ipromisenot yeah but now u can see that its just some particles... some metal crap... something that humans have put value on

  • @ipromisenot Well, it all depends on if your girl is a bitch or not ;p

  • @ipromisenot no one wishes for a gift to become scrap, but gold being a soft metal does break and often times there is not a jeweler that will fix a break without it being seen. which makes the fix useless. at least this way the value is kept and can be made into something else.

  • @ipromisenot think of the men who worked do hard to mine it...

  • @ipromisenot sounds like someone is bitter lol!!!!!!

  • was wondering what happened to grandma's wedding ring

  • Who buys that gold bar then?

  • @richfilmswales a lot of wealthy people + governments like to stock gold or other precious gems i believe as it holds its value way better then currency + the rarer it gets the more value it has so its win win!

  • @richfilmswales Jewelry manufacturers or banks.

  • drink it, i dare ya...

  • actually the smelting process burns off almost all inpurities. He has that stuff way above it's melting point, so you don't really get "24 carat" you get Gold Bullion out of the process, which is pretty damned pure.

  • How many carat would it be after melting down to a gold bar?

  • @Verzious The carat wouldn't change simply by being melted down into a bar. Only thing that will change the carat is refining it with chemicals.

  • interesting and thanks for showing - Jack

  • what song is this

  • ok since the scrap is not pure, then the bar would not be pure 24k.

  • ppl are so stupid for selling there gold for nuthing

  • it wouldn't be nice to get that on your feet

  • @McNugget767 or FACE!

  • how hot does 10k or 14k gold have to be to melt?

  • 1:06 DONT DROP IT!

  • GOLD GOLD GOLD !!!

  • this guy seems like a fucking scamming bitch,,,if you are stupid enough to send gold to these fucks then you deserve to get ripped....

  • O.O...ill just...take that...off of your hands *yoink*

  • Back when I was 10 I used to go into the house of this old woman on our street & steal bits of her stuff- she was totally demented & never noticed -no-one believed anything she said anyway. She died when I was 14.

A few years later at University & decided to have her jewellery that I still had valued- turned out it was rare antique stuff worth over £50k! I thought about giving it to charity, but used it to fund a superb student lifestyle instead- 3 yrs of drink, drugs & posh student girls!

  • @SuperTruth77 u will go to hell lol

  • @SuperTruth77 sad choices for a person who is a lover of pleasure, you are just pathetic

  • @SuperTruth77 hopefully what you did will happen to you same way, haha.and then like richfilms says U go to Hell ha.

  • @SuperTruth77 dont worry God has a plan in store for you when you die

  • @MonMonsieurBleu Don't spread lies please.

  • how much does that oven cost??1.50??

  • whoops,...just droped that can!

    XD

  • Woah that stuff is hot!

  • probably worth more before it was melted down

  • nice but it's not 24K or .999 pure

  • Next video: How to make the gold bar 99.99% investment grade

  • 1:05 Fire hazard! red hot pipe onto wood bench.. /clap i r health und safeh xpurt!

  • @DeadRiser1 I'm sure he knows what he's doing. ;)

  • @XMAsteven But After A like 6 months it starts to look bronze!!

look at urs i no u wear the fake shitty stuff.

  • @xfender96x Before that time the fake crap already fell apart due to its poor metal abilities. Colour can be faked, Quality cannot.

  • That looks sexxy!!!!

  • @XMAsteven The quality :) that makes it different; bitch i can have any girl i want, they all look pretty but only some have the gives to make others feel lucky~

if i were given an option to wear a shinier fake gold and the pure gold, i would take the pure one becaue of its quality, and rareness so people valued it more. Sometimes, easy thing doesn't really attract people, they want to the hard way, so they felt a self fulfillment and achievement.IDK where i am going to.. but you get the point

  • Just one thing, though... Gold is never scrap !

  • @XMAsteven Possibly because the worlds money is gold so (dollars) "money" equals gold.

  • I like the shitty plastic tub it's kept in to begin with : ) Quality.

  • what is that stuff on the top

  • Can i be your friend? you know like bestfriends so you can show me your gold?

  • whats the song?

    thx

  • @adolffims1 la ballade de jane by jacques davidovici

  • Very interesting

  • Sucker born every minute

  • I don't think its wasted, he knows the industry well id assume. He probably is an expert with the blacksmith arts. Im sure that he will add the gold he dumped to the side as part of his next batch.

  • What do you do with those 22K bars? I only see .999 bars being sold.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeesh, trying not to imagine how much that ingot is worth.

  • @oOoxelAoOo current market is 30.000/kg i believe.. not sure.. just watching random gold melting vids.

  • use the same stir stick every time

  • I want him to dump all that molten gold on my private parts..WAAAAHOOOOOO!

  • Furnace goes om nom nom nom.

  • it would be funny if he dropped the thing with all the gold in xD just one question how would he know the purity of the gold?

  • Is it just me or did I see about 2-3 ounces get wasted in this video. Looks very sloppy to me when gold prices are so high.

  • It looks like a portal to hell in the container

  • Will it blend?

  • Sweet.

  • What is that red liquid people use to smelt?

  • Nice video about melting golden scrap. And by the way... F*** CASH4GOLD!!!

  • Is using black gloves really such a good idea?

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • sexy :D

  • That bar would be worth big bucks! 22k-----whew!

  • Just a quick question - how do you, or what do you use to "glaze" the crucible ?

  • @hunter69denys Borax probably.

  • quite the pooooooor!

  • I found great graphite casting tools at GraphiteSupplies. com Graphite Ingot Molds, Stir Rods, Crucible Tongs and Graphite Crucibles. Check them out! I found out they even engrave ingot molds at really fair prices.

  • Hello any ideas how you melt down gold dust into bars . Is it the same as when you have scrap gold or do you add something to . it . I Need all the help I can get .Cheers Kind Regards .

  • Take a look at our channel, we make videos where we melt up gold then make jewellery out of it.

Comment and let us know what you think,

    Thanks,

    Mobeus.

  • @8mobeus8 nice videos :D subscribed

  • How can you purify scrap gold?

  • music??

  • induction heating?

  • if someone breaks in to rob you you could just pour it on his face as punishment

  • @kevlarunderwear22 is that what you did ha ha lol

  • @kevlarunderwear22 that is just mean, why do not better killed them, then get a wash tub, some sulfuric acid and a hacksaw ?

  • @kevlarunderwear22 And thus is the story of "Goldface" AKA Keith Kenyon, the enemy Spiderman.

  • @kevlarunderwear22 That would make an awesome face mask

  • @MrNomSauce Or a very good scull plate as it might turn out...

  • @kevlarunderwear22 To valuable...

  • @kevlarunderwear22

    great idea

  • at what temprature you melt that thing?th gold?

  • great insight to gold making

    scrapgoldrush

  • this is the first stage of it, no way will that be accepted as 9999. fine gold.

  • Dont ever sell your Gold, EVER!! -TX

  • why not?

  • @Jimbob202019: Firstly you will be getting ripped off for what they give you for your gold, secondly and more importantly the U.S dollar is losing value at an alarming rate and the only thing that will save a few families in America is how much Gold or silver they have. -TX

  • How much would that bar be valued at.

  • @soothingTUNES If its an 100 oz bar the current price is around 110,000 USD if its an 1000 oz bars its worth 1,110,000 USD. but that's only if that is .9999 fine gold.

  • @B0rnAl0neDieAl0ne that little ingot is only about 12 troy ounces ie 1LB of gold so its value at best is about 12 x $700

He did say it was graded 22kt not mixed scrap as 9Kt is only worth about $300 per troy ounce or 31.1 Grams

  • @bigcoolviking

Looks like you don't know what you're talking about. 12 troy ounces?, you are so wrong. A 10 oz bar of gold is waaaay smaller than that bar. That bar looks to be at least 2.5 Kg or thereabouts. If you have any gold, i will be happy to buy all of it from you at $700.00 per ounce.

  • @coffeebuzzz its probably not "pure gold" its more likely 14-18kt gold....so it looks larger....
