You won't find an "original Marilyn Monroe version" because there isn't one! MM never sang the song....Eartha Kitt was the original singer and debuted the song in 1953. She does have a bit of a French accent because she learned to speak French fluently while touring on cabaret in Europe. Actually she taught herself to speak seven different languages and could sing fluently in all of them.
