To see these songs played by human hands and not pulled out of the air like a voodoo god is a real gift for us Hendrix fans. Man you RISE to really incredible heights pulling off these classic numbers. And it doesn't sound forced. Great tone. A real treat. Sing on brother, play on drummer.
-Do bands likes Zeppelin, Floyd, Joplin, Doors, Hendrix, and The Who give you chills? Are you physically attracted to seeking truth in music?

Wooow If 6 was 9¡¡ A of my favorites hendrix songs¡¡very good my friend¡¡ Sound of other planet¡¡ Great album Axis: Bold as love¡¡¡¡ You´re great my friend¡¡¡ 5*****
I don't have a CD yet. Steve says he uploads these with the highest quality of sound permitted on an mp4. He says if you use 'Firefox' as a browser, they have an app that will let you download the HD versions from YouTube, which can probably be converted to waves and sound pretty good. That is the best I can offer right now. Thanks!
The very short clip at the beginning of “If 6 was 9”, is funny stuff. The rhythm section really shines on this song. Again, the production work is excellent. You guys have really got your act together…
I have not seen a video to them playing Machine Gun. I heard an audio recording once. I'll have to wait and see as I never know what's coming. Thanks again,
hey man tell him to get into the music and just speak his mind on their.. idk he need to put his own thing in it.. but the rhythm and communication is good. just a suggestion.. go stand out in this world.. increase the odds man...
it's great. but I think the original verision is a little slower and and the last kicks on drums in intro are a little bit slower. ritt. if you understand.
I think Jimi almost always makes his live versions a little faster and Steve has told me that they counted it at this tempo, as the guitar digital delay pedal was set to a certain timing, and it had to sound right when they got to that part. In other words, I guess it was done on purpose.
that was very, very good!!! can you give the tabs for the chorus?? it's very hard to learn this part by ear and I can't find a good tab... and you seemed pretty "right" to me
First, I only post Steve's videos, so I can't help you. I know Steve learned all the Hendrix songs he plays, by ear. At least that's what he told me and I have no reason to doubt him. He did tell me that he doesn't even know what some of the chords are called. He said he kept changing his fingering until it sounded as close as he could get to it. Barre the 5th fret and place fingers on 7th fret of 'A' string and 'G' string.
Just when I thought I heard it all...WOW! Another atypical Jimi Hendrix Experience tune performed by Steve and "the boys." That deserves mention! And not a simple song, either. I should know, I play guitar!
Thanks for sharing this great performance with the rest of the world. My only request is this: MORE OF THE SAME.
I'm not sure how long it will be before I get another to post. Might be a few weeks. I think he said that's all he wants to use from this show, but not sure.

It's all right that the guitarist is not a lefty. The drummer made up for that.

Then move that same fingering 2 frets lower. Then switch to F#6, F6, E.
If that works for you, than I guess I can help you.
