  • You party now! :D

  • moar color for rave!

  • What is the name of the mirror that is moving to make the different angles? Id like to learn more about how it works.

  • ALL LASERS ARE BAD FOR EYE BECAUSE IT IS A LIGHT INTERFERENCE.

  • @syntax128 Thats like saying all heat is bad for the human body, because you can cook with heat. TOO MUCH of anything is never good, but photons are photons, and so long as the laser light is scanned quickly enough, there are safe limits, which have been established.

  • @nopethegeek Basically, but frequency is not good. If to watch that for a long time, you damage your eyes. If you remove brightness, you can make a virtual reality and that would be awesome. I don't think I will do that, but it is my idea. Use it.

  • holographic projector in the futur ?

  • you'll get grief for crowd scanning because all of those lasers will make your eyes fall out in 30 years if you look into them.... you should know these things, look at the research.... sick light show if you can keep it off the crowd tho...something about shpongeltron except ahead of its time

  • @homerjay87 Don't walk into any bar or club in the uk then, You will shit your pants.

  • @homerjay87 lol. Ever heard of pps scanning??

  • @homerjay87 That's why there is an amazing new product called eye protection... Maybe you should look into it.

  • IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR

  • Whow crazy man. That is just great!

  • drugs

  • Eyegasm.

  • wow, you managed to make a WHITE laser beam with all the colors combined.

  • @jacobbobcorn

Thats why its called a RGB laser?

  • You say in your discription: "no fancy ilda graphics" what do you mean with it?

ILDA, is way better than DMX control graphics, aswell in the graphics itself aswell the savety af the laser. Maybe I interpretated wrong, but if I don't then you should try ILDA and see the difference;)

    Kind Regards

    GenietCrisis from Holland

  • @GenietCrisis You misinterpreted it. I am aware that ILDA is the long established industry standard. I was implying its just running off DMX and not ILDA which I know is a better way of doing it.

  • trippy

  • Nice! Lovely lasers! :)

  • Dude that is purely amazing.. i want it haha nice job mate... =]]

  • cool...i like it

  • Wow awesome

  • UHH WOOW sooo good

  • the laser tehnology is one of the best descovery:X....it's beautifull (the colors), funny, helpful (cutting things). :)

  • link please... what laser is it ?

  • @markkellr They don't make this exact one any more but they still make very similar and probably better ones. Google 'KoloLaser' to find their website.

  • that looked home made.

  • how much did you buy the laser for?

  • thats pretty cool

  • Thats amazing but this video is two years old im sure by now u either made somthing much more amazing or u stoped messing around with lazers

  • @Joewarr100 I don't get to use it very often at the moment. Im only doing small gigs so the laser doesn't get taken. Ive only used it twice this year. I have some great new video footage of it but I am reluctant to upload because I will probably get loads of grief off America for crowd scanning.

  • sir, what's the $ cost of this laser, n just send the link from where u buy this

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice Martinfreekie, thanks for sharing your video with us.

  • Sofaking amazing!

  • How much such a machine?

    Very cool!

  • i want one to for my drive in show

  • how much is this laser to buy,wot make is it and where can i buy one from, great video

  • that hurt the people eyes?

  • Very nice.. Do you know how much loss you are getting from those dichros?

  • @mayummy22 No but it looks like a lot. They are dirt cheap ones that it came with. I would replace them but its way down the priority list at the moment. Can you recommend anywhere I can get better ones to replace them with?.

  • WOW! It's realy cool! How you do it?

  • i love lasers

  • very good :)

  • this > bfg 9000

  • How much is that láser and the model

  • color orgy

  • Great music, fuckin awesome laser. +1!

  • :-)5/5

  • with one of these, all the other equipment becomes nothing more than decoration!

  • if i had that room i would get blazed everyday just sitting in there with my sunglasses on listening to music lol omg wtf epicneszz dont care if i go blind omg OMG YES THEN I CANT SEE IT WTF

  • fuckin epic

  • omg i think i was just high watching that

  • that is fucking incredible!!! i just have green and red lasers but im gonna buy an rgb one soon :)

  • This is a pretty good system. Most of the systems I have seen have visible color fluctuation when the laser is white. This one does not. A truly white laser.

  • can you tell me where i can buy that? thats sick!

  • how much did u pay 4 that??

  • At least 3 grand I'm thinking probably more.

  • a 600 mw laser is about 2000$ +

  • the red beam is huge :D?

  • Thats so awsome. I see you have a 404nm and a 472nm laser. Those 472nm are really expensive.

  • are you using a smoke machine?

  • @gadgetboy1234 Yes I was.

  • @Martinfreekie nice i looks amazing!

  • where do you get these dichros and galvos? I can't find a good source.

  • @Martinfreekie

this is fake because white laser color is not a wavelength and there is a dark blue color and a light blue colors

and also this would cost thousands!

why make CGI fakory of lasers

  • @mercanaries3 Why act like you know what you're talking about when you obviously don't... Combine Red, Green, and Blue lasers (RGB) and what do you get? A white laser beam!

You were kidding, right? Please tell me you were just kidding...

  • @kgunby

no you get a stick shoved up ur ass by the U.S Gov

  • @mercanaries3 Are you saying that I have a stick shoved up my ass by the US government, and you don't speak English very well so you weren't sure of how to say that? I don't really understand how that relates at all to what we're talking about...

  • @mercanaries3 If you're trying to imply that I'm brainwashed by the US Government, I have not.... I actually experiment with lasers myself and know for a fact that you can create a white laser beam by combining red, green, and blue laser beams.

  • @kgunby

no im not implying anything i meant what i said

it has a warning label on every laser sticker "do not mix green red or blue lasers together, other wise we will find you and shove a 2x4 up your ass."

  • @mercanaries3 you're retarded. Hit your crack pipe AFTER you post, m'kay?

  • @nopethegeek

haha im retarded right, listen up you Aspartame eating mofo go back to destroying America because fags like you ruined this great land

i bet you dont even know what GM,GMO,BPA,FLUORIDE,ASPARTAME, and high fructose corn syrup are.

  • Sick!

  • very cool

  • Hi

What angle are you using on the scanners. Are they cheap ebay scanners?

  • They are cheap Ebay scanners imported from china. They do about 20k but sorry I don't know what the angle is. I would guess about 30 degrees. I would upgrade them but I have more important things I have to spend money on at the moment.

  • Hey that looks great. i have a very similar chines laser but mine is a 500mw red green purple laser. (purple's not as good but alot cheaper than blue) I see you're hiting the crowd with the beams. Have you had any complaints? Iv'e been debating on wether i should do that becouse i would realy like to but i know its illegal in U.S. and i dont wanna get sued. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR VIEWS ON THIS.

  • Not illegal most country's. I now make sure its a reasonable distance away from the crowd. I use it mainly in large halls these days so its not a problem. In smaller venues I have a set of programs I use that all stay above peoples heads.

I have lost count of the times I have gone into a bar and the mobile disco has a 150/300/400mw? laser with crappy stepper motor scanners shooting slow and even static beams at the crowd. I still have never heard of anyone complaining about eye damage.

  • thanks

  • @gerard7622 It is not illegal here in the US to run class 4 lasers! You have to have an ordinance to use them and the beam has to be over the crowd and glare has to be tested before use. Just figured I'd share this with you.

  • holy shit that laser looks unnatural!! O_O

  • HOLLY SHIT! how mutch this thing cost you? its amayzing!

  • Just curious as to which brand this is? I know you said it was Chinese. What are the specs?

  • Its a Kolo KL-A8 E730. Google search 'Kololaser' for their website. its on there but the enclosure is now different. It is 600mw apparently. The blue and the red diodes atcherley say 500mw on them so they must not be running full power. The scanners are 15k. it will run stand alone, off dmx or ILDA. More specs on their website.

  • Is there any problem about switching on and of laser many times per second? ...fiability, life time or something...

  • - @ molinobeer -

    Hey, it's you again!

No. Switching them on and off do not present problems - they're designed with that in mind.

There are two ways to control diode based laser heads. TTL or Analog.

TTL is either ON or OFF only.

Analog is a voltage range between 0 and 5 volts. This method (slightly more expensive) allows you to create the possibility of millions of colors. It's exactly like creating a color pallet on a computer by adjusting the voltage levels between 0 and 5 volts.

  • Oh ok, yeah i understand that about the analogic control, actually I usualy do that with an arduino but aplied on motors.

..anyway I was worried because I though they may get damaged or somethink, because for my next project I really need to switch them on and off a lot of times... :)

    Thanks

  • RGB stands for RedGreenBlue? i'm just guessing

  • Yes.

  • like the RGB output.

  • Amazing setup!

    Custom build or prefab?

  • Best RGB laser I've ever seen.

  • Its only really a low budget Chinese imported one. Do a search for the video titled 'Amazing Laser Show' and you will definitely change your mind.

  • sick >:)

  • Hi there, does anybody know the laser company SHNIP from China. How good and safe are their lasers? Thx in advance.

  • wow fucking bravo..where did you buy this? i want one =)

also i got a rare Blue uv 200mw laser for sale on ebay if interested, visible from 20 miles.

  • So why does a 600mW laser need soo much power to run? 600 milli Watts.... thats almost 1 Watt..... couldn't you run a multiplier of some sort.... (NOT voltage either)

  • when i first read the title of this vid i thought ''holy shit! 600 Mega Watt'' but then i saw the video 600milli Watt. i think you better correct the title. 600MW is a little too much i think ^^'

  • I have changed the title now. I was not trying to mislead anyone.

  • i would put this out of my window and make a light show in the sky. i would probably get arrested though :(

  • Nice setup man. I just got a 150mw 532nm ILDA laser recently... with your "crowd" scanning half way through the video there.. do you think it is safe to do that given the laser power? I'm thinking that I'll have to aim my 150mw laser above the heads of the crowd. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

  • what laser model is this and where did you get it from? also you say you had to do some little mods to get it running better what were these?

  • Its a KOLO KL-A8. (Cheap Chinese import) I got from Ebay. The beams where not aligned very well when I bought it. I had to move the red diode so it hit the dicro at 90 degrees to the beam path as its supposed to and alter the positions of the dicros so the 3 beams lined up. ie one white beam projected on to the wall in front instead of 3 (red, green and blue) right next to each other. It was cheap to buy so I was not expecting high build quality.

  • bro, smoke machine in that room at 3:20 and it will look EPIC! I have a similar 1W laser, they're mental aye

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Sweet RAVEPART33z XD that looks amazing

  • nice nice

  • it doesnt look like 600MWs to me, because MW is mega watts, 600MW would be 1,000,000,000mW

  • Ok perhaps I should have wrote it 'mW' not 'MW' to keep the pedantics at bay.

  • hey dude looking wicked mate, best wishes from a old laser operater.

  • заебись скока такая установка стоит?

  • あまりワカンネw

  • how much did that cost you?

  • It was about £1500 off ebay.

  • Cool show! Also, nice music! Someone know wich artist and name of song?

  • Armin van Buuren - Shivers (Radio Edit)

    d(-_-)b

  • That is a beautiful piece! I wouldn't mind having something like that that was 30mw and just green. The graphics are the best feature of a laser like that. Very good job!

  • wow... absolutely beautiful. how insanely hard was it to align the beamsplitter cubes with the beams?

  • It was done very badly in the factory so I redone it myself. It was very hard, I even had to re drill the mounting holes in the beam splitters to get the correct angle. Even the slightest nudge would send the beams way out of line.

  • i dont even know how he got those

  • thousands...and there is a new white laser tech yellow, light blue and purple

  • What does a laser like that cost?

  • thats cool
