  • Jesus 140 HP. Meh. Rather have the Cologne.

  • When are you going to run that V8 Ranger again?

  • @xZZxTakedown never i sold it for this one

  • wow.... i have a 94 explorer thats a bit faster... weird dude. i guess that 3 spd will do that.

  • rangers are slow. i would know. i drive one...lol

  • @1969MustangMACH1 lets have a drag race! Mine can do the 1/8th mile in 30 minutes beat that!

  • @FordNissanChevy balls, mines a 2.3 with 150,000 miles and will do it in a classy 33 minutes ;)

  • The vulcans are weak. Im suprised they didnt use the duratech

  • @chorstma44 they stop making vulcans, now you either get a 2.3 dtec or 4.0. but right now the ranger is on the chopping block, might not be one soon.

  • @FordNissanChevy Oh yeah. lol I forgot yours is newer than mine. Ive got an 04 merc and its got the duratec. Ive got a ford with the vulcan too and the duratec smakes the vulcan in every test. i wonder why they stopped the duratec. Such a good engine

  • @chorstma44 they still make the duratec v6 and i4?

  • @FordNissanChevy I have no idea. lol. I know they make the vulcan still. I dont know why

  • @chorstma44 um no the vulcan is no longer made becuase it was a slow boat anchor. Not just boat anchor, a SLOW boat anchor.

  • @FordNissanChevy Haha yeah I know. My friend has the new escape and I recall he said vulcan. Im not sure but I'll ask him

  • @FordNissanChevy Throw a brand new 5.0 in that ranger. Problem solved! Also Sometimes The Corrective Mazda Badging Adds More Power and Eliminates the rev limiter but for some odd reason when u put the mazda logo on. the timing chain instantly turns into a belt...strange?

  • @FordNissanChevy

yup, I just found out the 2.3L I4 in our 2010 ranger is a duratec.

  • @Jon3800 thats the engine i really wanted for my ranger, good mpg, virtually same hp has the ohv 3.0, lighter and faster. the 3.0 just has more tq.

  • @chorstma44 The Duratec engines are very much alive and still in production right now. (3.0, 3.5, and 3.7 V6 and 2.5 I4)

  • @gusherb94 Good to hear. Although I fear they will be outdated and might not be produced because Ford seems to like their twin turbocharged ecotec 4 cylinder engines that re pretty much going in most models now

  • Ecotec is a Chevy name... The first Duratec ford's gonna dump will be the 3.0 V6 I imagine since it's currently the oldest engine they've got.

  • @gusherb94 It is the oldest, but the greatest. And ecotec is a Ford name. Only fords have it and Ford developed it within the past couple years. And GM hasnt really come up with any significant V6

  • my malibu would kinda keep up with it not sure tho

  • You should convert that thing over to a stick!

  • i doubt my mom's turd could keep up

  • Bout the same as my Taurus.

  • Maybe my Linc could barley squeak by...?

  • not bad man if you were ta put a CAI on it with exhaust it would improve

  • @slapaho087 it comes stock with CAI, exhaust is my next mod for it

  • @FordNissanChevy i didnt kno it did lol but what exhaust you gonna put on man, my 0-60 vid will be up soon

  • @slapaho087 glasspck, turbo, just not sure, might try the jba headers too.
